Playstation 3 is kind of a hot/cold kind of deal for me. On one
 hand, the system is damn close if not the most capable system 
out there, and has a great collection of games to buy. On the 
other hand, Sony suppoted the system like crap for the first, 
oh, five years or so. The great games aren't even unique since 
most are muti-platform (even the Sony exclusives are playable 
on older systems). I like the system, but this along with the shift 
in focus that companies have these days keeps this from being 
a Legendary System on my list. Favorites include Blazblue Continuum 
Shift, Catherine,  Metal Gear Solid 4, TekkenTAG 2 and Chaos Code.

else. I have also traded alot of the horrible games off over the
years for money to buy what was then newer games (because 
Army Men World War won't pay for itself). I have a nice long 
list of NES games I want to get/try, but some are costly and 
others just are hard to find when you think of them. Favorite 
top three are easily Super Mario Brothers 1-3,  Lone Ranger, 
Rampart, Metal Gear, and...Ok I lied I love too many to name

I had it on PSP back when and it was amazing. I have some memories tied with Star Ocean 3 but I think 2 is the better game overall.

MGS1 will always be my favorite game, no matter what. waaaaaaaay too much childhood memories playing this with dad to not enjoy myself. I can admit it hasn't aged worth a damn though.

Truthfully (when my mood doesn't demand the first one) Metal Gear Solid 3 is my top pick. Yeah, 4 was a big deal but I'll play 3 anytime.

I also have the NES version and that's suprisingly fun at times. I know AVGN bashed the hell out of it (and I can't really disagree with him either) but holy shit I love that game.

Pseudo Enigma: It's 6 bucks on the network and runs smmoooooooth. Best yet, it runs on PSP. I considered the gameplay to be great for a handheld honestly. Knock a mission out while on break etc... A legit copy is a little pricey though. I think it's just that they're hard to find in good condition.

Yoko Shimomura is hit or miss. Parasite Eve has such a horrible soundtrack IMO although I can see someone doing a minimalist/trance remake of the entire OST and it being BOSS. Someone go make that thread at OCRemix!

Nah they're about 50$ each, ship. included. Nothing out of the ordinary! Plumbers is about that expensive and it's only one game. The CD-i Zeldas are 100$ each, and the last one is gonna be about 300$ (ouch my wallet), also DOA5 is well about 100$ too, so yeah, nothing special about those mario games

A few of my buddies place it as top 5 RPGs of all time. One puts it as his favorite PSX game

I can see the appeal, but it was already pas the point of acceptable age when I got around to owning it and I couldn't dig it. I do want to beat the game though, one day. I think it's fair to say it ranks as top 10 RPGs of the 32 bit era if for nothing else having a great premise and an interesting battle system.

Lol dude it's the only rpg that I like. And my favorite (or tied with second favorite) franchise. 3 is gay but still solid. And you should see all the apparel I have of that game; macaroons, cigarette box, dogtags, game guides, magazine with Aya Brea covers, commercial poster ads, etc.

Also one of Yoko Shimomura's best tracks in Primal Eyes stfu. I agree that the ost is not something you can enjoy as a standalone, but it fits the game perfectly. Kinda like most of Michiru Yamane's stuff, if you get what I mean.

I mean to be completely controversial and borderline offensive when I say this: Yoko Shimomura got shit on by Kingdom Hearts. I haven't heard any good music from her ever since she started working on that project.

Okay I lie. There are a few tracks here and there, but in general KH ruined her for me.
