A lil help?
I was wondering if anyone knows of any good practice jack songs for either FFR or SM.
~Thanks

Re: A lil help?
After Club, try AIM Anthem in purchased, for 1000 credits.
After AIM Anthem, go to hardkore atomic, which is CURRENTLY in hip hop.

Re: A lil help?
It doesnt really help me much to play songs that, jack skill wise, im no where near capable of doing. Like, I need some easy(ish) songs with jacks, i literally cant do anything with jacks in it 0_o
I will try those some more though.

Re: A lil help?
Jack Hammer Madness on SM. Lower the rate and test out your jacking abilities.
EDIT: Well Turbulence is definitely easier than Club or AIM Anthem, so maybe you should have a shot at it.

Re: A lil help?
X-dreamers im capable of, mostly.
@Destiny, thanks, will do. Speak of the devil destiny, i scrolled 4 songs down on SM and found JHM x]\ Skill level = newb - 0.5 rate on jackhammer madness is all i can do without failing. Song selection to work my way up D=? Hardkore Atomic Seems to be nice for me, seeing as it does have jump jacks too. Still, maybe a later song once im better. 882 - 118 - 7 - 27 - 35 302 AIM Anthem would prolly only help if i was playing SM seeing as FFR counts a jump as 2 seperate arrows. Its messes me up a bit more. 524 - 148 - 23 - 41 - 29 327 Club will help once i can actually read it and then be able to do jack jumps. 488 - 53 - 6 - 26 - 24 363 Turbulence is TOO easy now D= WTH X_X I give up. 9 goods on turbulence... 747 - 9 - 0 - 0 - 0 756

Re: A lil help?
Sandstorm, Guillame Tell. There are lots of songs overloaded with jacks in the Hard Songs Megapacks 1-5.

Re: A lil help?
You don't get better by playing easy songs.

You also don't get better by failing songs.
Obviously if im not good enough for a song I shouldn't be playing it till i've played easier songs to get my skill up.

Let's draw some parallels to real life sports- do top 200m runners run 200m dashes at comfortable paces to train? No. They switch between grueling short 100m and below sprints and longer more slowly paced 400m routines, between 50-300m ladder workouts and 3mile runs. Get the idea? If you want to get better, you HAVE to move outside of your comfort zone. You have to force yourself to sit in front of a computer and play the privateer until you either pass it or your fingers stop moving. You have to pound your keyboard in frustration after you've failed IDP1 for the 100th time in a row. You have to be sitting in the dark at 5AM pissed off that you can't read the 32nds in DME. And then you go to bed and you wake up the next day and guess what? You're better than you were yesterday. Rinse and repeat. FFR is like anything else in life- you only get as much out of it as you put in. Now song suggestions, might as well rite? V SHD EW's Cry for Eternity Trisection oni St. Scarhand Ageha beginner Blue betrayal

When did i once say i wanted the easiest jack songs possible? DID I NOT try each song that has been posted? I think i have, no please dont even say that i havent moved outta my comfort zone. Just so you know, not everyone gets better by playing harder songs. Some people dont get anything out of that. If you cant read the arrows coming up, you need to start off slower, or with some less arrows making it easier once you get to hard songs. Which packs are Blue betrayal and V SHD EW's Cry for Eternity in because i dont have them @ infinity. Im glad Death Piano was easy to pass for you 0_o that songs a bit...err....extreme D= lol

Re: A lil help?
I like to practice jacking on Technodrome, Maid of Fire, Trisection Oni, and Kasta Sten whatever.
Of course it goes to show I'm only good at quick mini jacks, can't say much for endurance. EDIT: Oh and zl

Re: A lil help?
Get GLoVE's Stepmania Gym. Like 7 really hard dump songs that help big time in the long run if you whore the **** out of them.
Try The Bermuda Triplet and The Privateer, pretty good endurance training. Also, the 2 Minute Jack. Its an up down 16th note trill for two minutes at 215BPM. Seems easy at first but ohhhhh myyyy gooooood it hurts. Proabably really easy for indexers, but not for us spread players.
