I got World Tour today.

Solo F can go die in a ditch. This took about an hour and 15 mins from my first play (which I failed at 75%) to 5 star.

Well I got GH:WT a while ago, might as well review it.

Songlist is disappointing. Sure it has some good songs, but overall Rock Band 2 has the superior default songlist over GH:WT.

Song creator...is too tedious. I'm not going to touch up on that really. I didn't like it. Needs to be more like stepmania.

Gameplay...at first I thought I would like the drums, but really in the end the layout isn't as great and simple as the Rock Band drums. Guitar is still great and all. I haven't tried vocals, but I don't think I will.

Now the charts. Comparing them with Rock Band 2...Rock Band 2 of course won in this one...but some things I find interesting. Now in GH:WT you could still play notes while holding on to a note. Now, this is a nice idea, but there are some parts when this was unnecessary. Notes are over-charted in some songs, but there are quite a few that are UNDERCHARTED in some parts (ie Everlong). Purple notes were okay, but made difficult HOs/POs too easy, and I think it's only necessary to put it in some charts, but not in riffs. The best thing they did though was the open bass note. I liked it a lot, and it seems more realistic.

I can't compare the drum charts between RB and GH:WT since they are different, and I haven't played too much drums yet. Same goes for vocals

But really, I was disappointed with the game, again. I'm sorry guys, but you lost a player. I'm not willing to buy more GH games from them anymore.

rb2 is way better than guitar hero 4. i bought the guitar for wt and it was terrible, so i just beat the game to get the expert achievement then my guitar broke so i just returned it. i went with a les paul controller and play rock band 2 now

I know the star power path, I just didn't use it because I'm dumb.

I dunno random try, first time breaking 500k, old score was like 475k or 481k.

Edit: Bit better, maybe I can 5 star it.

If you're breaking 500k on TTFAF (let alone 20k from the 5*) you should have a lot more fcs. Play more!

GH:M is going to rock everyones socks. hands down. Vastly superior to WT, and WT wasnt even that bad.

From my experiences, both drumming experiences and charting are different enough (if youve got the drumsets for each game) that its worth getting both even with repeat songs.

Plus you can pretty much double bass out of the box with GH:WT, which will be helpful with X+ on GH:M

Also setlist will be up for GH:M next week.

I'll work on my FCs, I have 21 right now, I got 205k? on Ruby. I know I'm capable of some more FCs, but songs like avalancha that are like 5 minutes and super boring I just don't ever want to play x_x
I'll work on getting at least 30 by next Friday I guess. Hopefully I can finally get 3's & 7's, I got 1 miss on it like 3 times before I quit a few months ago -_-

3's & 7's has been such a bitch to me. I've gotten -1 on it at least a dozen times now.
I got -1 on it three times in a row at one point. Like back-to-back plays.
