This is something I did not realize

IMO 86 is like the perfect cutoff for D7 but whatever I can't AAA 79s anymore

Also even with this knowledge, D6 is still way too narrow in range because any division that considers Ambient Angels and Radical Rat of equivalent placement is crazy

nope, totally not spewing enough salt to satisfy my Puerto Rican relatives, not one bit, jesus christ, shut the fuck up >___>

I also love the fact that you're automatically assuming players are placed explicitly on difficulty and not overall skill, not withstanding the fact that you decided to lump in a 66 and a 77, the 66 being incredibly simple in structure and the 77 being an absolute technical nightmare in structure to try and make your point, but I'll continue.

At the start of this tournament, you were packing low SDGs on D7-range files that collectively indicate you are more than capable of being where you belong, while the others did not at the time of tournament start:

(91) 4-1-0-0 on Schmollbluk, FC difficulty is relatively low, AAA difficulty is through the goddamn roof on bursts
(90) 5-0-1-1 on Slashmaid, tests speed/control and a little bit on the stamina front because of some of those anchor-heavy 16th streams
(89) 5-0-0-0 on Counter Clockwise Chant Pattern, which is a completely different kind of burst file in that it heavily tests reading, manipulation, and overall control, as opposed to Schmoll which is just literally concentrated on 4-5 bursts
(89) 2-0-0-1 on Grist, which indicates mastery of low/mid-speed jacks and also shows that you can handle extremely jarring bursts and exceptionally high-speed bursts of jumpstream/handstream with really bad patterning (280 BPM)

Not to mention that you had AAAs on Pandora and Wanderlust, and near AAAs on Chik Habit, and Fanteucpx[zv.

None of the other players were anywhere near that at the start of the tournament; YoshL was packing a near AAA on Punkture and a low-teens on A Quick Death, all other scores in the relevant D7 range were trivial, because at the start of the tournament, YoshL's primary skillset was mostly jacks and that's about it. A Quick Death is very flukable because the difficulty concentration is pretty much in one short section.

MikeShinoda wasn't even solid in the D7-relevant areas until recently; start of tournament, he had to luv me I *** for you (reprise) AAA, which was an 86, but his high FGO/low-end FSO scores were lacking. His other good score at the time, Xanthystramua, was a low SDG (~3g), but the chart is trivial in terms of physical play and is hyper-manipulable. Both of these guys were upper D6 at the start of the tournament, and they're now both D7.

I legitimately don't want to hear you making criticisms about divisional ranges when you're one of the people who has had the opportunity to win the official twice. If you're going to offer things, do it without adding other people to the mix because you're unhappy about your overall placement.

I legitimately apologize if you think any of my comments came out of salt, they seriously didn't. As a matter of fact, I don't feel like I should've even have been D5 last year. These are just random opinions.

Also I'm actually extremely happy I got last place in D7 solely because I find it hilarious lmfao

I'm not trying to come off as displeased, I just feel like the top of D5 could be smooshed in D6

When you're making multiple posts that are targeting other people, it's very hard to consider those posts as anything but, especially when you brought into the light the fact that you can't AAA a 79 (when your level ranks clearly indicate you could have done so in the past).

I always thought Grist jacks were very trivial compared to some of those bursts

All dependent on skillset, for sure. I can much more easily do the 280 BPM jumpstream/handstream bursts than I can sustaining long 140 jacks. The 140 jacks are less demanding physically for someone who can handle them, but my left index finger is absolutely horrible at doing extended jacks, whoops.

Tournament badges have been distributed, thanks to Velocity for that. If you've received the incorrect badge, post in here and I'll take a look at it.
