It's because off assholes like you I cut my wrists. Seriously though, it's crazy how good people are getting now in such a short period of time. It took me two years to do 8s and 9s and another year to do Paranoia Survivor. I didn't even beat max300 until some time last Spring/summerish. Keep up the good work. Matsuri Japan is a good place to start for 9s.

Today I FC'd a 7-footer...Cartoon Heroes Standard, I was happy (still only got an A because I have no PA to speak of but I assume that'll get better with time like it does in FFR/SM)

So I got cocky and played the Heavy...ya that was a mistake. I made it like halfway through though XD

One of my problems is crossovers. I'm absolutely terrible at them, since I play spread on FFR/SM and so rarely even notice them, and they mess me up basically 100% of the time when they show up. Ugh.

I'm up to A's on Holic and A. Hopefully I'll be able to move to 9's soon and forget about Standard =D

I tried Era and barely passed but still got a B...guess that was because it was final stage.

EDIT: I AA'd two songs: Cartoon Heroes and Rhythm and Police, both on standard. Those two have become my two favorites, and for my first 9-foot pass I'm going to try to do one of them (both are really nasty though...Cartoon Heroes is just confusing and Rhythm and Police has crossovers of doom ><)

It's so awesome that so many people are starting to play DDR. Where I live (Utah) there isn't such a big DDR community as there are in California for example. Over here I actually started a couple of groups and have started at least 70+ people on DDR since the beginning of 2006. 18 of them have now gotten pretty close to matching me. Keep working on it Shash. Knowing that you can totally own me at FFR, maybe one of these days you can own me at DDR also.
Peace,

im the only good player around my area, i've never even seen anyone try heavy anywhere i've been. it's funny to go to a bowling alley and see 20 year old guys playing on standard thinking they're really good then i get up and play max300 on heavy. then im always like "you got owned by a 14 year old"

I can do crossovers now, for the most part, as long as they aren't really weird. I didn't really think of just turning my whole body to the side, but that works really nicely.

Still can't pass a 9 though =(

Gallops kill me 95% of the time. I played Speed over Beethoven on heavy, which is only an 8, and almost died because of all the gallops (passed with a D)...and it was first stage.

Cartoon Heros heavy is really like a ten, and sakura is really a nine.

Cartoon heroes is in no way a 10. I agree with about Sakura though. The only part about Sakura that was a little bit challenging to me when I started was that I couldnt read it well. Now it's just too easy in my opinion to be considered a 10.

14 isn't low on the age standard type stuff for DDR

Id say 10 or 11 is the only time appropriate to go all, "haha you got beat by a kid".

Extreme challenge for me = passing a 9-footer/hard 8-footer.

DDR != SM/FFR.

You can go to hell for all I care. It's not a contest.

But yeah, Shashakiro it's pretty awesome how fast you're improving. Keep up the good work
