The patterns were indeed fun, though, agree with AJ on that. The one gimmick part I did think was cool were the quad things though, I guess I liked the ones in between the jumpstream in the beginning if I'm thinking correctly, too, that jumpstream was so fun omg

i'll cut down on the random color gimmicks
i'm still experimenting with them

Please do. Color gimmicks are irritating IMO. Actually any gimmick in FFR really. And white notes are pretty much completely overrated. Just chart the song normally so the colors accurately help people read the charts.

fortunately there are no color gimmicks in the rest of the files

the only big cases were where's bill, powerpoints, and spin the disc which all came out in 1 round

i still have color gimmicks in lw3, hajnal2, and crow's ghost which i submitted to ffr oops

I honestly don't know. I've been wanting to but before I know it it's like time for the new round already.

Alright, anyway it's better for you two to put time in doing the regular updates than in making previews because they're just fun, not necessary.

I actually love colour gimmicks. I understand their potential to cause framerfuccery and how messy they can get when used in excess, but when used reasonably I usually find the file more memorable and enjoyable.

...I was trying to work on a file like this for this exact song a while back, but I never finished it, and I'm glad you made this. Expressive, fun, accurate, and a difficulty which matches the song. I really enjoy the chart.

Also, I'm really sorry about the round not going up... Kayla and I were both exhausted and simply didn't have it in us to have all of the round ready.

I'll have everything up at 12 AM server time on Sep. 21 (one day late), I promise.

IMO late and honest about it is better than rushed & sloppy work, or lack of communication.

Ah ok, the many alts confuse me. I guess the moral of the story is that even someone who is able to make really good files (Anaru, wc, Scintill) can put out garbage when they try to deliberately make a file difficult
