Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
Well, if you are on a mac. You cant run .exe's.
I didn't think .net framework would even be a problem considering it's just some lines of simple coding. Even so, i would assume most people have .netframework on their windows. Try updating? I don't know. Last edited by Izzy; 10-22-2008 at 02:33 PM.. |

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
The .net framwork v2.0 came out a long time ago, and it's in windows update, and I'm pretty sure there's v3.0 now. It may be a big download, but there's lots of programs out there that require it anyway.

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
I am Downloading and using this, I would not mind custom speed mods. I hate C700 but C725 is to fast for me.

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
Yeah that program is pretty useful. I think this generator needs more attention.

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
I think the whole point of the program is for customizing speedmods... I don't understand that question.
Cool program.

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
well I didn't test the program, and wanted to ask if it can only make certain sets of mods (like the one in the pic), or it can generate arbitrary set of speed mods.
now I tested it and understood how it works (I'm not SM 3.9 user though). |

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
The difference between 4.0's and 3.9's speed mods are just slight character differences. I could make it for 4.0 as well.
Someone post what the 4.0 speed mods look like. I don't feel like downloading it. Last edited by Izzy; 10-25-2008 at 02:14 AM.. |

Re: Izzy's somewhat similar speed mod generator
SM 4.0's Metrics.ini looks like this.
[ScreenOptionsMaster] Fallback=ScreenOptions Class=ScreenOptionsMaster # ExitItem is an exit row with the "Exit" text as a menu item; ExitTitle # uses the menu title. ExitItem=1;together;SelectNone;showoneinrow ExitItemDefault= ExitItem,1=@'screen,' .. ScreenMetric("NextScreen") .. ';name,ExitItem' ExitTitle=1;together;SelectNone;showoneinrow ExitTitleDefault= ExitTitle,1=@'screen,' .. ScreenMetric("NextScreen") .. ';name,ExitTitle' # Player options Speed=12 SpeedDefault=mod,1x,no randomspeed Speed,1=mod,0.25x;name,x0.25 Speed,2=mod,0.50x;name,x0.50 Speed,3=mod,0.75x;name,x0.75 Speed,4=mod,1x;name,x1 Speed,5=mod,1.5x;name,x1.5 Speed,6=mod,2x;name,x2 Speed,7=mod,3x;name,x3 Speed,8=mod,4x;name,x4 Speed,9=mod,8x;name,x8 Speed,10=mod,C200;name,C200 Speed,11=mod,C400;name,C400 Speed,12=mod,1x,200% randomspeed;name,Random English.ini doesn't exist, and en.ini is in language folder instead. It has completely different format from the one of English.ini. I think this program is available for SM 3.95. |
