Why is Club an 81 while AIM Anthem is a 78? How is Balloon Fever a 75? >_>

Anyways, AIM Anthem and down should be a VC and Club being the hardest FMO, or Strangeprogram. Perhaps EHHS since it's apparently easy to like 50 members.

Club is much easier to score on and mash on if needed. AIM is 100% straight jump jacks staring 50% in, and they alternate jumps at the very end of the song. To top it off, the last sets of jacks are single arrow, which means mashing isn't going to help anyway.

Club has short single arrow jacks, followed by jump alternations, and is actually slower too. Easy to mash FC, easier to score, easier overall than AIM--both should be FMOs.

I actually have a lot of trouble PAing NWE compared to Epidermis, LWIV, Silence etc etc

EHHS is too easy for 80, should be 79, not harder than Setsujou, Club is an 80, AIM should be 79/80, Fotbb 81 (seriously, wtf? 79? You're kidding right?), NWE 75, and Balloon Fever 74, that is my opinion

AIM will only be the easiest FMO for me if it is the only FMO

Don't you think it would be weird to have one difficulty be 68-78, the next 79-83, and the next 84-95, though? I understand that you think some songs people have trouble on are totally easy, but your proposal is dumb because it makes FMO a very narrow difficulty range. It honestly looks like your motives are just "i don't want anyone to have oni, roar" which as I've said before is dumb because over 400 people already have it.

I think the entire difficulty scale could use reworking. Easiest - VD is probably as solid as it's gonna get, and Max Forever is a good 'hardest VD' song. But I'm thinking some of the easier VCs could be knocked down to challenging (stuff like SoE and tambourin chinois could easily be challenging), some FMOs knocked down to VC, and some FGOs knocked down to FMO. As it stands right now, the FGO difficulty range is huge (84 - 94), so I'm thinking something like:

Challenging: 60 - 69
Very Challenging: 70 - 78
For Masters Only: 79 - 85
For Gurus Only: 86 -94
13: 95+

The challenging difficulty span is kinda big, so maybe 60s and 61s could be bumped down to VD...CIA /Teh Tricky Techno/etc. could easily be VD too

Thoughts? You guys'll probably hate this lol

And it's not like this thread is gonna get updated for a while anyways lmao

That makes sense; I'd be fine with it. I think the difference is that if all the difficulties were increased (for the higher-level songs anyway; I agree that the lower difficulties are not in need of changing) I could just get used to the new definitions of what a VC/FMO is. Just moving a huge amount of songs down, on the other hand, would be very difficult for me to accept because it would mean that (for example) VC is a range from songs I expect to AAA to songs I can't SDG.

we need to do what they did for challenging and make an easiest and hardest of each difficulty. over the frail dream was said to be the standard challenging so all the challenging files are based on that i would assume. lets do that for the rest yes?

Should we really base the difficulties on an elite of 100 players or so?
When all of you start getting FGO AAAs, will Frictional Nevada become a VC?
Well, I got 4-0-0-0 at EHHS, but, years ago, I even thought it was close to FGO, for heaven's sake! I would NEVER compare it to a VC.

Master Maid (81) --> (80) [Pretty easy, but bursts kill score.]
Momentary Life (83) --> (82) [open for debate--no bursts, just straight up speed, actually not too bad.]
Toxiferous Dystopia (82) --> (83) [strange patterns, 32nd flams are very tough to read, some 32nd bursts can't be easily jump trilled.]
Holy Orders (85) --> (86) [strange jump patterns, trill?]
Schmollbluk (88) --> (89) [open for debate--bursts are very difficult and you still need decent JS skill to handle the ending.]

Just a few of my thoughts. Anyone wanna discuss other changes? Stavie's done a great job on this and I think he should keep it up. =)

One of my best FMO's, I personally don't think it's anywhere near as bad as others, I save 83 for > Big Blue (which I think should be an 82), stuff like Gymnastics and HaRR
