Fantasy Football 2010
Who's playing this year? How many teams do you have? Who's on your team? How well are you doing? What site are you playing on?
I figure there have got to be some people keeping up with it this year. I'm curious because last year was my first time with Fantasy Football and it was with the FFR league. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
I have two teams, both in ESPN standard leagues, both 7-3. Team 1 is coming off a 140-61 smashing thanks to Vick's 49 points. Team 2 is coming off a 124-78 win, especially important as it gave me sole possession of 1st place in my division, even though I had the tie breaker with as many points as I've scored with that team. Team 2 is in the top 1.2% in scoring woop woop
My current lineups are as follow: Team 1 QB: Michael Vick RB: Jamaal Charles RB: Ahmad Bradshaw RB/WR: Maurice Jones-Drew WR: Miles Austin WR: Percy Harvin TE: Jacob Tamme D/ST: Titans K: Sebastian Janikowski --- BE: Brandon Marshall BE: Hines Ward BE: Steve Smith (Carolina) BE: Dustin Keller BE: LeGarrette Blount BE: Austin Collie BE: Rob Bironas (Waiving for Pierre Thomas) Team 2 QB: Joe Flacco RB: Rashard Mendenhall RB: LaDanian Tomlinson RB/WR: DeSean Jackson WR: Andre Johnson WR: Dwayne Bowe TE: Antonio Gates D/ST: Bears K: Rob Bironas --- BE: Pierre Thomas BE: Percy Harvin BE: Mario Manningham BE: LeGarrette Blount BE: Stephen Gostowski (Waiving for Mark Sanchez, playing the Texans...) BE: Benjamin Watson (Waiving for Keiland Williams) BE: Danny Woodhead |

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
I'm not sure, all I really remember was going into the playoffs as the 1st seed and then losing all of my playoff games haha.

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
On my Yahoo! Fantasy Profile, the last time FFR had a Fantasy league was in 2007. I think I had a separate profile. I'm confident there was one in 2008 because I was commish.

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
Tell me about it... Sports needs its own sub-forum somewhere.
Since this thread took off though I'll post in here instead. My predicament from the other thread still exists: what should I do? |

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
As far as I know, FFR Fantasy Football threads have and always been in Chit Chat.

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
I agree that there should be a subforum for sports, and I didn't notice your thread until I saw that it was "related" to this one, and then I pretended to not notice it. :P
Chit chat is more popular, soooooo yeah. |

Either way, I'm on a 3 game winning streak (currently 5-5, fought my way back from 2-5) thanks to: Kyle Orton stepping his game up a notch, I was afraid the Broncos were going to start using Tebow more for touchdown purposes, and QB touchdowns are weighted heavily in my league. This and he also throws a good amount of yards and touchdowns to Brandon Lloyd, who I almost confused for Malcom Floyd and almost dropped. Andre Johnson getting progressively healthier. Stefan Logan, my league scores kick returns, and Logan is a primary kick returner as well as a running back OR wide receiver on some plays. A freaking awesome set of running backs, including Arian Foster (#1 ranked player in my league currently,) Darren Sproles (who also scores me points for kick returns,) Darren McFadden (the Oakland Raiders primary method of attack,) and Peyton Hillis (who is a straight up tank.) And the New England Defense has had some good games this season. I'm using Yahoo! like usually, but next season I'm totally using ESPN. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
If only your runningbacks were as solid as your wide receivers... Although I picked up Kevin Walter earlier and dropped him, the Texans attack is pretty much either going to Arian Foster or Andre Johnson.

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
Ehh, MJD and Moreno are good for 100 yards and maybe a touchdown or two. Then usually it's a toss between Brown and Jacobs over who I think will score short yard touchdowns.
The receivers actually give me more of a headache. Johnson's a lock, but choosing between the others is tricky. Then again, they all got me at least 10 points, save for Moss (who I started x__x) so I still got lucky. |

Re: Fantasy Football 2010
Take into account the quarterback that's on the wr's team and the pass defense that each wr will be up against. For instance, you don't want to start Andre Johnson if he's up against the Baltimore Ravens defense, even if he's Andre Johnson.
