Your response has been describing things to me as if you're teaching me something while using terms incorrectly at the same time. You can't seerhunt clear someone without dying. You can't get bussed if you're not a wolf. You don't get vigi'd by someone who isn't a vigi. I'm gonna try this again now, and please respond by actually addressing my questions instead of "linking me a game with SHC in it" "I'm getting mixed signals here. A person (lito in the example you used earlier) is seer hunt cleared as town when the scumteam kills someone (you) with a fake peek on them (in an attempt to hunt the seer). How did you plan on SHC anyone if you didn't intend to die? What did you hope to gain out of it in the day phase? What could "stick"? There's no way you could have "died unexpectedly" lol it's either you intended to SHC lito (your pregious claim) by dying or you didnt intend to die (your claim now) and it was never supposed to SHC anyone. "

Re: TWG CLXIII: Allies and Adversaries - GAME THREAD
i think maybe you are expecting the sort of calculation and control of a mastermind or something and aren't satisfied when i deliver less than that because youn want to best someone who is pulling many strings or something, which you aren't doing right now. you're harping on something that the better angels of your judgment don't fully believe but your desire to clinch a day one kill is causing your ego to inflate to the point of tunnel vision.
i haven't played this game seriously since 2015 so my memory is foggy and how i should proceed is dictated by ideas that maybe arent relevant anymore, but i basically opened the phase by posting shit that i thought would get it going. a shc and a probabilistic guess at the night kill, then lito was very excited and i had to respond before things got ridiculous, so i've just been posting my thoughts since then trying to salvage what is an easy fucking kill for the wolves

maybe since you are caught up on semantics and correct usage of words we should come to an understanding about the phrase "shot in the dark" and maybe see if coming to an agreement on that parlance helps us glean something meaningful???

[/twgv] Lol I swear this isn't even close to being the case. I just wanted my sentences that end with question marks to be answered and not responded to with links to shit I don't need to read. I appreciate that you've even stuck around this long tbh, but do try to see things from my perspective as well and not just from the preconceptions you hold about my perspective. Quote:

i guess, in other words, i didn't intend to SHC anyone. but there was a chance i might have, when you stop thinking as the move as having a direct 1:1 correlation with results and instead having a possible correlation with results if i got lucky

Re: TWG CLXIII: Allies and Adversaries - GAME THREAD
no i didnt intend to die, i only intended to pretend to be the seer indirectly and then if i did happen to die early somehow based on the context then we could reasonably clear those people simply because a few people who know the strategy are in this game

Re: TWG CLXIII: Allies and Adversaries - GAME THREAD
but it also doesn't matter if i actually SHC someone, it still, if it had worked, makes parsing out the situation harder for wolves, who have an inherent advantage and usually can get a sense by the end of d1

many trees of my logic stem from the basic premise: doesn't matter if it does or doesn't work

Re: TWG CLXIII: Allies and Adversaries - GAME THREAD
lmao if that "bussing" slip is real then that's amazing i didnt even process that when i read his post. i'll admit i found Vs play very standard and don't fault people for not knowing that claiming peeks in any role is a good thing to do, but meno's reaction didn't seem villagery. i mean did anyone else snap believe both those claims and declare it a "claim-fest"? seems weird to me
