Mercury Lamp Help
Aight so I am obsessed with Mercury Lamp and was looking to do a step chart for the WHOLE song. Problem being is finding the entire song (which is about 4 and half minustes long not 2 and half) and I finall found one copy of it in OGG. But the file has this ANNOYING high pitch sound right when the song picks up at the main part. I am looking for anywhere to obtain a good copy of the whole song or to buy it. I searched on his site and all I could get were demos. The song is Mercury Lamp by Shiki from his album Trancer Dolls. Any help on this?

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
my suggestions:
1) ogg is a fine enough format for simfile creation... SM reads it just fine. if you want to use it for potential FFR use, i'd kindly request you convert to mp3... Flash doesn't handle ogg's. small matter though. 2) a free program such as Audacity or Goldwave will allow you to remove the annoying high pitch sound from the ogg file. those should allow you to use the audio file you currently have to do what you want to do. ps - interesting username. i like the reference.

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
Well I have Audacity but no f*cking clue on how to make it. I love this song and the pitch is annoying. Its right when the song picks up and continues throughout it. I can put a link up to the song somewhere if you or someone would like to look at it to figure out just what is wrong or if someone could walk me through it that would be cool too.

Doesn't Suigintou mean Mercury Lamp? I ♥ Rozen Maiden. I found a version on LastFM. Its 4:44 minutes long. Its by Shiki and it is called Mercury Lamp. UPDATE; I have the file. I can try emailing it too you if you wish.

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
I did. But I need the FULL version that is 4.44 not 2.45 lol. I got another one without the high pitch but it was corrupted. I got an OGG that is wonderful except for that tiny little high pitch noise. I just need a walkthrough on Audacity is all.

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
Try this, it's for removing buzzing sounds but it might work for the high pitch sound.

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
*Shakes head* This is just nuts really it drives me insane. The song is beautiful haha. I checked that out on removing the stuff and to be honest I didn't have a clue. Plus you can't select past 28.3 seconds in the song to edit and plot

Re: Mercury Lamp Help
Oooh Oohh! I mess around on Audacity alot. And I'm sure there is a setting in which you can remove all sounds above a certain frequency/pitch. I cant really determine where, but I think it might be there somewhere.
