This winter break, I may get back into blindfold cubing. I don't expect to be the fastest at it anymore, though. A lot of the newer guys are just insanely fast with their freestyle commutator approach. I just simply can't find a good memory method to describe what I would need to do in order to match that.
For now, I'm perfectly content with my CO/CP/EO/EP approach (it basically solves orientation separate from permutation, whereas the freestyle guys solve entire pieces at once... that is, both permutation and orientation simultaneously). It's still decently fast, and I've been able to get sub-1 minute times with it. Even a sub 1:30 time, in my opinion, is plenty fast enough for it to be enjoyable, and so it's my goal to be able to sub 1:30 again at some point. I might do some blindsolves in the video chat at some point in the future, if anyone's interested in watching.
