I didnt participate in the last Omni-pwn on the sheer fact that I already have a metal pad for DDR, I didnt really need a second one on the off chance that I would have won. By suppling a list of possible prizes, I'm certain you'd find a much wider range of people joining if there is something they like on said list.

you still didn't like my perfectly valid solution though.... you wanted it more precise, or something like that.
regardless, you know i'm all for mentals. you make excellent puzzles... they are a pleasure to solve, although often highly frustrating as well.

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
I like the rubik's cubes. Make sure they're signed too, especially if they're store bought ones. Cubesmith stickers so that they won't start peeling on us?
And I really wanted the Cobalt Flux for the last tournament, too. It's just that the whole thing didn't really fit my schedule. I was pretty busy, and often I had activities to participate in while the events were starting, so I just gave up on the whole thing. So yes, get rid of the time-based challenges. |

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
All my cubes have good stickers. They won't be peeling any time soon. A few cubes have cubesmith stickers, while other cubes are Eastsheen brand (aka very high quality). Some of these cubes I've had for years and the stickers aren't going to come off any time soon. The standard Rubik's brand stickers are really crappy so I avoid those at all costs, lol. The plastic membranes peel off too soon and the colors fade away.

Eastsheen? So what, you're giving away 2x2, 4x4, or 5x5 cubes as well? Haha, I'd participate just for a signed 3x3. :P
Lol still, I don't think cubes would excite many people. |

my 5x5 is in awful shape... it's missing about 4 little plastic squares, and 2-3 others are glued back on. stickers are starting to peel on my 4x4 too.

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
Again, prizes would be in the form of a list. Winners can pick and choose

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
Aw, that's a sweet idea. Sorry, must've missed it in the rest of the forum. Hope I check back enough so that I know when this thing starts.
Will this thing cut into Summer? I'll have more time to do this when I'm out of school. |

Sounds good, I'll join this time around.
EDIT: Hopefully on June 15th or later, because that's my last day of school >.<

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
Ok, cool. Hopefully it ends before school too. I don't want to have to spend much school time like I did for the first Omnipwn.

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
Most likely a third mental, a third FFR, a third Flash games with the ability to still win stuff even if you choose not to participate in one portion of the tourney, but the better prizes will require you to participate in all three parts. This way there's something for everyone, and nothing will be time based so you can take your time

Re: What kind of prizes would give you incentive to participate?
This leads me to the question: Are the flash games going to be hosted on Kongregate or on some other website?
