Artist Blanket Permissions v5

Okay so I couldn't find whether this still made a difference or not:

Do artists/record labels still need to email the site for permission to be official? Or can a screen shot of a conversation or email giving obvious consent to use the music suffice?

For a record label, you might want to show someone of relevant position on the site to verify that the permission is actually legitimate. Same thing for bigger name artists.

They can be posted here too, but make sure that someone important actually sees them.

Got Limited/Conditional from "Fight Club". We have permission to step from his songs released up to 1/12/2011 (the first 24 songs in the list or up to "Welcome To The Industry"). If anyone is interested in stepping something else that has been released from him, let me know so I can shoot a message to him.

found this awesome sight were people submit remixes of cool stuff often not so mainstream music. everything is free to download and the remixes are ****ing amazing from what ive heard so far. if you find something you enjoy feel free to ask permission from the remixer and im sure they would say yes

Got permission from daniwell. Mostly Vocaloid music, some fether-like techno pop songs.

MP3's including off-vocal versions can be found here: http://aidn.papiness.com/main.html
(Right-click on the MP3/MP3 Off Vo. buttons and choose "Save As")

(There are some songs on here as well: http://papiness.com/main.html
but I'm not sure how to get mp3's for these. Most of them seem to be loops anyway.)
