Last term I was taking this pretty tough course on differential equations. Anyway the grading scheme was really weird, you could be graded on the midterm and final only, or have the homeworks count for a total of 50%, and whichever grade was higher would be your final grade. As it turned out I was really lazy (and the homeworks were difficult) so I only did about a third of them, hoping I'd do well enough on the final to still get a good grade.

As it turned out I did quite well on the final, fortunately for me My final grade was an A.

My spanish grade is an 89 right now, so I am hoping the finals can pull that up to an A. All others are 96-100.

The only test I ever 'failed' was the Putnam Exam.

I got a zero.

I only took the first half of the 6 hr test.

How do people manage to get B's or A's without doing homework?

And I hate people who are like "I don't understand this" but then get like an A or higher on the assignments D:<

Turns out that you either get a question correct or wrong in certain subjects. For example, in history I took a test and got 19.5 out of 30, even though in like 2 of the questions I got 5 out of 5 and then I started to get 2 and 3's on the other ones.

And I could care less about school but bad things would happen if I didn't try l0l

Nobody likes homework. I usually get nothing from it as I just try to rush through it, unless it's a big project. It is the main cause why I stay up until like 11:00 at least in the night every day, and even later if there are things such as long concerts (yesterday's was 4 hours and it lasted until 9:50ish and I still had homework D:<

How in the hell are so many people sucking at English?

I look at it like this, it's just a more advanced form of Spelling back in 5th grade.

It aint just essays man it's also those tests that require you to memorize things all over the book

Also, I remember my 8th grade teacher would take off a lot of points for such a minor grammar error, there were grammar marks on literally everyone's paper at the time rofl

Hmm, wait until you get to the point where you have to do literary analysis

I love literary analysis!
It comes really easily for me.
So does English in general though.

Yeah, being given objective marks on your subjective analysis of subjective creative expression. What a crock.
