FFR Film Club
Yo hey who here has NetFlix? You bet your ass I do. Okay, how about this one: who else is living a sad summer with absolutely nothing to do except post things on the internet? Aw yeah, me too. Let's cut to the chase here, folks: I want all y'all who have NetFlix Instant capabilities to, on certain set dates, watch movies with me. All types of movies! Comedy movies, drama movies, shitty movies, porn movies (just kidding--not). You might be all like, "why is this in Chit-Chat?" Because I love y'all. And I think this thread will only reach its full potential in this beautiful subforum. Seriously, who reads the Media forum?
So, start suggesting movies! I guess I'll figure out some voting system or something. Here are some requirements: -Must not suck -Must be on Netflix Instant (check netflix.com. If you can click "watch" or "play" or something, you're good. If it's "add" only, no dice.) We, as a club, will decide on a date. After we watch the film, we will come to this thread to discuss it. It's gonna be awesome. Come on, you know you wanna. -- Robertsona, President and Supreme Sexyman of FFR Film Club Current brethren (we ride together, we die together): -Robertsona -ShAiOnEi

Re: FFR Film Club
My official submission for the 1st annual FFR Film Club screening: Persona, by Ingmar Bergman. Pretty short (82 minutes) and supremely discussable. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_(film) (Note: this doesn't mean we will be watching this. I just submit it for consideration. Follow suit! Or just agree with me.)

Re: FFR Film Club
I just got Netflix a few days ago using my dad's credit card (of course, with his permission). and I didn't know they have a freaking un-removable history at the top listing every movie I've watched. And I happend to watch MILF as my first movie LMFAO.
Also I'll be able to do this after this Friday. xD

Re: FFR Film Club
Watched Bronson on Netflix today, I loved it, even though I was half-ass watching it. Very visual movie about a very interesting person. 5 stars would watch again.

Re: FFR Film Club
It's a little hipster site that makes up like a quarter of the internet's bandwidth usage. Still pretty small.
My family shares a Netflix account so I might be willing to do this. I've watched plenty of things on Instant.

Re: FFR Film Club
if you're in Canada, netflix isn't really worth it.

Re: FFR Film Club
How so kommisar? Do you have an alternative that's similar or is the cost higher up there? There are plenty of advantages to using Netflix vs. downloading to computer, if you ask me.

Re: FFR Film Club
I have netflix but I don't know if I want to keep it. The instant streaming library kinda sucks. But maybe doing this will bring up some movies I wouldn't normally watch.
I just watched Gamebox 1.0 today. I don't even know what to think of it lol.
