revious:

333 + 333: lots of beats missed. sometimes you step the bursts as 24ths sometimes as 32nds. it's the same beat idk why you changed it. jump use was ok at first but then became inconsistent and I have no idea what you're layering at this point. reject

amaryllis: ah much cleaner now. very fun.

crescendo: 80's style guitar solo. auto accep

extrema pt.2: i personally think the file is awful because of all the gay pride bursts (which pretty much make up the whole file) and aids 48th note walls but I imagine some people will like this. accep

paranoia revenge: one handed 32nd trills. no. song seems pretty generic and repetitive. there's not much transitions in your layering or pattern usage. looks a little all over the place. reject.

shoreline: yes very cool

the darkness within bits: I guess we need a simple chart like this in. wasn't a fan of the long holds with 16th runs but yea.

as is i have 19 files.

Ahhhhh those trills... dont even remember putting them in... took them out... however, since you think its generic, I think Ill just leave it.

Ill fix up 333 + 333 more (fixing what you mentioned if I can) and send it back since you didn't have any generic/repetitive issues with it. Im guessing, 333+333 actually has a chance (One of my fav songs). Seems like I fixed the syncing problem you had before.... that was what I was more concerned about.

oops I still have access to the email. time to give second opinions!

(operationstrawberry) 333 + 333
I don't even understand what most of those jumps and hands are even going to. Also file sync drifts and becomes very offsync. Overall, layering isn't too horrible but the pattern choices weren't very pleasant to hit and there's barely any variation to the way you stepped this, mostly due to song choice. All you've got going on is WUBWUBWUBWUBWUBDODODODODOO for like 2 minutes which isn't interesting at all. いいえ

(Scylaax) A Showcage
Patterns at M92 is a bit awkward mostly due to that jumptrill to hand mini-jack transition. Liked what you did at M82 to change up layering and make it less repetitive because god knows if you continued layering the same way it would drag on forever. Still repetitive but it's fairly enjoyable. はい

(Rog) Cocaine Voltron
Solid layering with nice variation and innovative mine usage. Thank god you didn't uses any gay as **** patterns to hit. はい

(moches) Croqel Part II
A bit better than the first version. A bit long and lackluster but tons of variation in layering and has your signature mine usage. Great as a semi-easy MA file. はい

(bmah) Extrema Pt.2
Huge ass trill at M21, the arrows placed on [1] and [4] are awkward to hit. Personally, if I wanted to keep those in I'd either layer them as mines OR shift the jump placements so that they're easier to hit. Beat 81.5, change [13] to [34]. Beat 83, change [24] to [12]. Beat 85.5, change [13] to [34]. Patterns at M58 and Beat 235 are awkward to hit. Beat 246, not fond of that 24th one handed trill which is hard to hit especially when it ends off as a polyrhythm and then transitions into long jacks. Overall, layering is very unique and solid. Definitely replayable for scoring factor. If you want to consider tweaking the file a bit, please take my notes into consideration. はい

(Xayphon) Fast Asleep
Went overboard with the freeze usages which could've been kept more minimalistic. You could pretty much get rid of all the shorter holds and limit them to only the longer ones. The song and layering are easy enough to follow so accenting certain sounds with holds aren't really necessary. Layering is solid, just be careful when you're making holdstepping patterns and dumping mini-jacks. I found a few sections slightly awkward to playthrough. はい

(Scylaax) Hiyayaka ICE
Really digging this file's pattern usage and layering choices. A bit lackluster but definitely one of your stronger files. はい

(Xayphon) In Love With You
Beat 98, pattern is a bit awkward. Beat 143.250, same deal. Beat 314, think you can shift the pattern to something else. Beat 334.750, be careful when you're placing hands after 48th bursts like this, especially when the layering progresses. The transition here didn't flow too well which left is a bit awkward to hit. Beat 426, hands feel overemphasized here and thought they could've been watered down to jumps. Also, I don't get why you decided to throw in freezes to the same hand placement in M108 when there isn't anything that distinguishable between them. Almost all of your longer holds could be cut down a bit shorter in length, which would also avoid some awkward holdstepping. Overall, layering is generally accurate since there's a lot of stuff going on in the song itself. Aside from my nitpicks, file is solid and replayable but if you feel like tweaking this, please take my notes into consideration. はい

(Scylaax) Kyokutou Fuka
File starts off really funky with the layering and the transition to where you finally start layering in the jumps and hands to follow bass, percussion and other **** is quirky. M18 once the jumpstreams kicks in I personally would start layering in those piano chords as hands for emphasis and variation in layering, so long as they don't create awkward mini-jacks in the process. Overall, layering doesn't change up too much and feels very repetitive as a result. Technically, it's generally alright but personally didn't find this too enjoyable or replayable. File is either a hit or miss pending on the player's personal preference so I can't really make out a verdict for this. 未決

(Xayphon) Lol It Down
Sharpnel alarm. Not feeling a lot of the hand usages in this which all feel overemphasized. Very repetitive and lackluster and I don't see any sort of replay value in this. いいえ

(Saku) Mercury Lamp -Full Version-
There's a fine line between consistency and inconsistency. This is way too consistent in the way that you're using the exact same boring pattern over and over again when there should be more variation in pattern choices to cover more area and keep it interesting. For example, for the first 19 measures of the file I was already bored out of my mind from hitting the exact same pattern over and over again. Once M20 kicks in I was pleased to see variation however there's a real absence of pitch relevancy for the jump placements. There's not much to layer in this song itself so following PR would be a wise choice if you want to create patterns that ~feel~ right. M52, once again too consistent and boring. At this point I quickly skimmed over it and there wasn't any change. Stepping the full version definitely wasn't a very wise choice, especially since there's absolutely no variation in layering choices and pattern usage. I'm probably sounding harsh but I'm going to be blunt and say that the file was a complete snoozefest and nobody would play this. いいえ

(operationstrawberry) Paranoia Revenge
32nd one handed trills at this speed are absolutely HORRIBLE. Layering is all over the place and there are tons of awkward pattern placements. Song generally isn't that steppable or interesting for that matter and there's a huge lack of variation in this which makes this boring to playthrough. いいえ

(-Barista-) Pizza Butt
Not fond of your choice to layer the barely audible finger snaps with jumps when the synths are very dominant and would be better as jump placements. I have an elitist pet peeve for having jumps that layer vocals, so this bugged me already. More of the bass would've been a wiser choice to layer in with jumps rather than the vocals. The mini-jacks later on didn't really emphasize much, despite adding some variation. Overall, file is very lackluster and repetitive. The layering wasn't too bad despite my nitpicks but the song itself isn't really suitable for stepping material as it's not interesting at all. いいえ

(Rog) Songs for Dead Malls and Their Surrounding Communities
Takes a long time to finally build up so the beginning of the file could turn off many people since it's not interesting at all. Once it does finally build up, file becomes fairly interesting. M47, not feeling the quad usages as there's not much top emphasize and there aren't enough 3-note hands to balance it off until later on in the chart. Beat 407 nice 207BPM 16th jack did you get it from a garage sale. Beat 451, pattern is awkward. Where you chose to stop stepping is bit quirky as well but overall layering is solid. A bit long but replayable for scoring. はい

(Gpop) The Darkness Within Bits
Pattern usages are very pad/index influenced as I was expecting (generally speaking when pad file authors start stepping keyboard I notice the patterns aren't varied up much at all, lol). M21-25, although they generally feel right, aren't all that spread friendly. Beat 158, awkward pattern placement which should be shifted around more, or changed to a full staircase roll. M41, personally I would start layering the piano/keyboard chords as hands for emphasis and variation in layering. M49, rather than a straight backwards roll, you could've shifted the patterns around to make streams, which aren't that awkward to hit for spread players. Layering is decent and this is fairly interesting. Think a few pattern tweaks are necessary before I can pass this off. いいえ

(Rebound) Witchcraft
Thought the percussion in the beginning measures should've been layered in. M13+ thought a few freeze usages to layer the held synth notes in the background would've made nice additions, despite the stops. M23+ you actually could've dumped mini-jacks here to match the feel of the song much better than these trills. Beats 119-126, some jumps on the 4th notes could be layered in. M34+, same deal about the synth holds. Long holds at Beat 150+, although add variation create some nasty holdstepping patterns to hit, especially when you're jacking and hitting jumps/hands with it. Aside from my nitpicks, overall layering is solid and definitely one of your stronger files. Fairly enjoyable and replayable. はい

Eh, the only thing i agree with is that the holds at m150+ was awkward to hit but i wanted to add emphasis to that part. Also, since i suck at holds, it's hard for me to come up with good hold patterns so i rarely add holds in my files unless if it's too obvious within the song itself. Good review though
