When Synthlight disappeared, all of us regulars had different theories of where he had gone and what he was doing. Some people thought he went traveling. But I had one trick up my sleeve that I thought would finally bring an end to all the questions.

"I have you now, Synthlight," I thought. "Once I catch you, the nightmare will be over. The sea of confusion and doubt that has plagued this land will finally be put to peace."

My excitement grew as I heaved the Master Ball towards Synthlight. My aim was true and I would truly be the Master to set aright all the problems of FFR.

But it was not to be.

"Wild SYNTHLIGHT fled..."

I couldn't believe my eyes. Just as soon as he had appeared, he had vanished. My Master Ball floated gently along the water, empty.

I don't know how this happened. I'm sorry FFR. I'm sure he'll come back to us when he's ready.
