Drumline Members Unite!
Hey what's up ya'll, it's n-unit again.
I just wanted to start a thread for all those who are on a drumline. Wether in highschool, college, DCI, winter lines, whatever. I'll start, I play Bass 3 for the University of Utah fall 06 season. I started playing in high school, played bass 2 my sophmore year, then i moved up the lead snare for my junior and senior year. I also play flute, clarinet, trumpet, and a bit of piano. So yeah, just leave your name, what you play, and a little of you background in drumming. OH and if you play anything else, let us know. Peace Out! --Dan

Drumlines suck in a marching band, but kick ass by themselves.

I myself prefer set drumming, but in a drum line there is unity and stuff. Also, some snare drummers can do some sweet tricks with their sticks.. :P (sexual referance not intended) |

Drumlines over power a marching band.
They're only good by themselves.

Unless you have a smart drumline that will play lower than FFFFFFF.
Our drumline actually helps out our marching band.

Re: Drumline Members Unite!
I played bass 4 this marching season, and wanna do tenors next year... anything but frontline again(I did that freshman/last year and hated it... vigorously)... I wish I had a set, but I play the guitar too and would rather save up for a nice guitar. I have a Squire and want an Epiphone.
