Hey guys, i've just been reading the forum and things like that and i've seen "download this simfile" and "Mario hard simfile" and all these crazies and been wondering.....what is a simfile? how do they work? can i play them? i don't quite understand.

If you have played flash flash revolution or dance dance revolution, or a simaler game, you know what a simfile is. (Also refferied to a stepfile) It is the step of arrows. At the top of the page you will see something called simfiles. Click on that and download them. (It's preety self-explanotory) Then, download stepmania. Then, go to your stepmania folder and open up "songs" Make a folder called anything you want and place your newly download simfiles there. Then play stepmania, and it should work!

also, if those instructions aren't helpful enough, we have a simulator files forum with stickies at the top explaining things for you... and also a stepmania forum with different stickies.
