Do you suggest to keep doing songs you currently fail, or songs you C or D? Until you get better that is.

Well, if he's talking about C'ing and D'ing songs, I'm pretty sure that he's talking about SM.

Didn't really pay attention there.
Ok well if you want to improve accuracy just play lots of songs that aren't too difficult for you but keep trying to get nothing but marv's, you'll get better over time. For speed/endurance play songs above your level, play songs at your level on higher rates, like quasar 1.2x, 1.4x etc. Play songs at higher Cmods, that sort of stuff. When you do that, go back to your comfort scroll rate and continue playing, you'll get better over time. |

haha, so I was right to ask FFR or SM, and it was for FFR. Damn you IAAW.
Yeah, I don't play R2, but if it's anyway similar to SM then just listen to what I said. Main thing is just keep practicing. |

give it a break for a week or 2. seriously. . .stop playing, and forget about the game for awhile. . .let your brain soak in all the info it's recieved. . .then come back to it, and you should be refreshed (this helps in almost anything involving skill).
other then that, i recomend playing songs above your level. thnx. |

1. if you can C anything: try to B anything. 2. if you can B anything: try to A anything. 3. if you can A anything: try to AA anything. 4. if you can AA anything: do stuff you can't AA until you can AA it. 5. if you can FC anything: do stuff you can't FC until you can FC it. 6. if you can AAA anything: you have a choice here to work on accuracy or work on speed. if you wanna work on accuracy, AAA as many songs as you can and try to lower your perf count each time. if you wanna work on speed, do songs you can barely A until you can AA them, then look for something harder. the thing is if you're really bad and you spend all your time playing songs you fail you won't get anywhere because you'll just keep failing. basically, you need to learn the following: a. reading b. accuracy c. speed and you can't have any accuracy or speed without being able to read first. if you can't A anything, that means you can't read, and you should learn how to read by playing stuff as easy as possible.

What tora said.
You can't get better unless you can read it. So practice things you can read. (Things you get an B or above on counts as songs you can read IMO. Anything lower and the song is higher than your skill level) |
