Well, this is me trying to draw attention back to the topic at hand. I assume that part of the reason no one responded to your original posts was that the thread got so full of stupid so fast, people missed pages. Now I'm interested to know if these flaws were pointed out in the original thread, and, if, how the guy would answer. |

nforcer's teacher gets an A. That actually inspired me to start studying bate and faults of logic again. (I was in debate club for all of three weeks before)

Well, I did tell my teacher about banditcom's comment... he was elated. Let's look a bit further into things, see if the arguments he brought up were responded to in the original thread. If need be, let's present them in the original. He wants to see if his arguments can be refuted.

There are better ways that mathematical logic schemes to prove God exists. Stephen Hawking, probably one of the most intelligent people ever to have lived (up with Einstein), has written papers, many of which you can probably find online, regarding black holes and a domain of Heaven and Hell. The main gist of his papers is that inside a black hole, the very natural laws of physics can be distorted to any form, and any sort of being (God) can manipulate the laws as it sees fit. Then there is a whole section on brainwaves and the ability for energy to get "trapped" within black holes....etc. Science and religion are not opposites, not even a bit. Science explains the Big Bang Theory and the creation of the universe, but does not explain the exact first 36th of a second. And guess what: That exact 1/36 of a second is enough to validate an argument for God's existence.
