That was the best first post ever.

I would quote myself, but that would be stupid. Again, I think we all need to be a little bit more libertarian on this subject. Let people be who they want to be. As long as they leave the water pure, I have no problem with any of it.

Because most of us are talking about the latter emo, I think.

I don't mind emo's, as long as they don't go above and beyond to prove that they are depressed. If one of my friends came up to me and said, "hey, I just heard of this awesome emo fad. I'm gonna bandwagon and dress like them!" I'd be slightly disappointed they were joining a fad, but I wouldn't care that much. If they came up to me and said, "I'm emo now, and I just got back from cutting myself. Look, see the mark? SEE IT? I'm depressed, you know. My life sucks." I would be angry with them.

It all depends on how far they take it, in my view.

I think that the whole “emo” thing is fine by me. I don’t disagree. I don’t agree. I don’t get involved. I generally don’t care. I will be me. You will be you. I care about myself generally. I understand that sounds self absorbed. However, I see it this way. I have my own worries. I can’t help anyone out when my heart is cold from my own problems to give warmth to others. It’s sad but it’s true. I’d love to help others. I can’t with what I have now. I must sort myself out in order to help others. So if society calls me a punk, a ***, emo, skater, chav, biscuit, pen or whatever. I pretend to care long enough to make people think I give a shit about what they think I am to stop them from bugging me. I have enough to worry about. At the end of the day, I summarize things like this…….

It’s not your problem, as it is not your life. Why moan, it won’t change anything. Stop worrying about there lives and get own with your own.

Ok, I am going to say it. I hate emo kids. They are wasting their lives walking around cutting themselves with butterknives, parting their multi colored hair, and asking to die. I swear, the first emo kid I meet and says he wants to die, I am going to kill him. With a dull spoon at that. Then He will realize that he doesn't want to die, but it will be too late. Ok with that off my mind. Emos are gay. They are wasting their lives buying 55 dollar pants that are nothing than mere aluminum and denim. I could make better pants out of grass. I cant stand the makeup either. Emos with makeup should be classified as crossdressing homosexuals. And to that emo punk that posted earlier. I dont care. emo=gay. And yet do they realize that once that theythey have wasted alot of money buying there makeup, clothes, and multi colored hair, that it was the biggest waste of their life, JUST to be "cool". Cool means nothing people. It just means that you're an arrogant @55hole that doesn't care about anyone but yourself. Burn in hell Emoriffic people.

Why isn't this locked? I mean, come on, this is branching out into a "discussion" that has no business being in critical thinking. "Emos are gay." Wow. How many times do people need to hear that the word "gay" is not an insult. It is a way of life. Jesus....also...emoriffic? Great. Is that even a word?

Wow. Tolerance. Amazing. I am sure you would be fine with some "emo kid" saying something to the effect of "It's okay to be happy, but NOT to wear polo shirts."

And I am really glad that it is okay with you to be depressed. Thanks for that.

REMOVE HEAD FROM SPHINCTER, THEN TYPE.
Being emo isn't depression. Being emo is giving in to a fad.

Also, you are very skilled at comparisons and conclusions. I applaud you.

I am a Jesus hater? You are hating on a group of people just because they are different than you. What does that make you? Let us think back to Bible 101. "Love your neighbor as yourself." You obviously either hate the person you are or you are tired of being the only "Jesus hater" and you need friends.
For the final time, someone lock this....it is going nowhere. To be honest, I am mad at myself for even posting another reply.
