how is teamkilling in a video game at a "similar level of disregard for human decency" to vandalism that could incur thousands of dollars worth of damage? it's not even close

its a good mechanic, it prevents you from spamming shots because you need to worry about your team being in the way

ssbm uses friendly fire in 2v2 as well
