That is the big bang theory, space is coming out of nowhere, people are observing galaxies just moving away from each other , and none are really getting closer. It kind of breaks the laws of conventional physics because things are moving apart, without other things moving toghether., wheres the action-reaction, The thing is that there isnt a force pushing them apart, but space is appearing in between them, coming from the big bang, no force, just more space is coming in, making the universe bigger. Space is appearing everywhere.

Ok now on to your theory, after you explained it about 4 times, I think im finally getting where you're coming from (I hope)
I think you are saying that the universe has a finite age, but is infinite in distance
There is one "small" star cluster thing that is all we have observed
Our cluster started in a Big Bang of its own

this could very well hold true but we can never ever (for a very long time) get much evidence for this, because we can only see out like 14-20 lightyears MAX, maybe less because of things blocking the way and such

So unless you manage to come up with a really awesome experiment, we can never get evidence for it
but other than that, It holds together well. It probably won't get very far in science because everybody tries for experimental evidence.

maybe if scientists study the current theories more, then we can understand it, and then tacking on such an idea would be more accepted.

all this thinking does make me tired

this is the forum where I learned a lot on this stuff
http://tetraspace.alkaline.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
Its got good stuff
Maybe you can post your ideas, those people are the real experts

Well I think space is appearing... and that things move through space rather than space being made or appearing.

In any case... thanks for your reply... and maybe I'll give those guys my theory later when I feel like it...

While I did think of it myself... I'm sure others have thought of it before me and tried pushing it.

I haven't seen it anywhere on those boards, and those guys are like the physics supernerds
They may not get it at the beginning because as you would expect, they kinda hug to their general relativity and string theory, which they know inside and out

plus there's the problem of it having no way to get evidence, at all. I think that maybe researching string theory further could bring out ways to get further evidence so we can know for better

although we all know that this is just part of the plans of the FSM and his great noodly appendages

Sure, I loosely understand it, but I'm a high honors student going into eighth grade. How am I supposed to understand this fully?

1) Read a book like The Elegant Universe
2) Go to a good forum like tetraspace.alkaline.org/forum and just read the topics
The book is really good source for information like this. I read it in the second half of my 8th grade year. Good stuff

Steven hawkings has good books on the universe.

The link I posted also has the basics.

But really, I don't think you're suposed to understand this fully yet.

I still think there is only one universe, and it took up all that there was to take up. Multiverse's would just be weird, but hey, I'm open to anything. I only want to know the truth.

I still don't really understand the saddle universe too well either. I kind of get it, but at the same time don't. Oh well, I'll have a uni prof to ask soon XD
