I'm just hyped at the fact that the community is going to get some awesome recognition! I hope things go well, as I do not have any particular ideas.
From playing in front of others, who haven't seen basically any rhythm game ever, combo is definitely the biggest thing. To put people's feelings simply, they want to see big numbers. I explained to them what exactly combo does to total score, and they seemed less interested than the fact that I can mash keys 1000 times. I don't mean to degrade anyone who might read this that wants to become interested in FFR, SM, Osu!, etc., this is just my personal experience. So, yes, people want a good narrative, and they want to be informed. They also want to be wowed, and that is up to you. GL Staiain |

Now I'm not sure exactly how this will work, but can more than just staiain play during this? Because another idea I had was have a person from each general skill level play a song, assuming that these people could make it to AGDQ. For example, have a person from each general skill group (using the 1-7 division scale, plus staiain because he's just on a different level). This way it shows the variety of skill level in the community. [Redacted]

Playing some solo files, show off how sm can work with different keymodes? I have no idea what I'm doing.

IMO, choose things with:
1. Interesting music 2. High combo potential 3. Don't go all-out too early. Start out with some easy stuff and slowly work your way up to insane levels at the end. Make people think, "There's no way he could top this" with every song. |

If you want to do a course, Ive always been a fan of the Windeu chart Printer Jam.
Im a fan of the "history of" aspect. You can even do this simultaneously with different types of charts A VG medly as you talk about the game and history. FC is important. Pick some famous "impressive" chart like Disregard Jackhammer madness One minutes [edit] St scarhand I know they're not the hardest ones out there, but they're still ridiculous to 95%+ of rhythm gamers and mindblowing to everyone else. Play a mod course to reset expectations. End with a crazy dumpfile. Agnus Dei pass would be impressive |

I remember there were some talks about superplays during the previous months for GDQ and I'm glad you're the one to get the showcase. Good luck. Last edited by Crazyjayde; 12-1-2015 at 07:31 PM.. |

In summary: Climax Theory
Also stian cant vibrate (well) so those dumb vibro files are off the market. No doubt he will have a good line-up picked (plus some new content is likely going to be made specifically for this git hype) |

$0.02:
- Have build-up, like previously mentioned. Like as a gimmick, you could play a file on 1.0 and then 1.5 right after. Doesn't have to build-up the entire way, you can choose some 'fan favorite' songs or stuff towards the end and I think that could work too - Having an x-mod file in your arsenal would be pretty cool to show I think - History in the form of famous files is overrated here, I doubt a high percentage of viewers are interested or can appreciate the significance. Just pick good music, challenging files - Try to keep the audience engaged beyond the game. Tricky for SM but I'm sure you can find things to talk about
