Default Carbon Fiber Coolness

School is coming in about 2 weeks, so I thought I'd come with somthing unique besides myself. Since I am such a fool for carbon fiber, I thought what better to come with a carbon fiber CD Player with MP3 playback! Now I googled it many different ways and only found a stupid JVC one with a look-a-like carbon fiber finish. I am not one of those people who are following the lame iPod trend. Most people who have one are just spoiled. Anyways, thats not the point, I'm looking for help on finding a carbon fiber cd player.

I was also thinking about buying just a normal cd player with mp3 playback and buying some carbon fiber veneer from dragonplate.com so I could just wrap the cd player in carbon fiber, and cut out the slots for the buttons and screen etc. That, I want to keep as my last resort. So, any help on this? Or maybe even some other suggestions for carbon fiber accessories?

You must have a CF hood for your car if you are such a fanatic. I have an OEM CF hood on my 03' RSX . I like it clean.

My black VW R32 is fine as it is, although I have some aftermarket parts coming in soon, mostly HKS. CF doesn't go to well on a black car, I'm waiting for a white paint job. Then red vinyls, perfect colors.

I'm glad you like my hair djshox, lol. A lots been up actually. People dieing down the street from me in a stolen ferarri related 120mph explosion 2AM I witnessed instant death car split in half accident. *breathes*

No carbon fiber on that ferrari though =\

I bet a Ferrari's hood is heavy, you can probably add like 2 more hp with a CF hood...like it will make any difference

Jsut saw a new computer with CF casing. well not exactly only has on the top thing. Is an Acer computer with like sponser from Fararri or something, so it has little farrari stickers all over.

But to answer your question, never heard of CD player/diskman/MP3 player with CF on it.

Good Luck

Silly rabbit, carbon fibre is for cars.

Seriously. It's light and lets the car move that extra bit faster and it also looks beautiful as accents. If anything is completely carbon fibre, whether it be cars, computers, CD players, it just defeats the purpose.

EDIT: Anyone who puts carbon fibre on a Ferrari, Porche, or any other car that I could only obtain when I get rich, needs help.

I have a CF hood for my EK...actually, I have a sticker that looks like carbon fiber for my hood.

I also have a lot of "powered by Honda" and "Type R" stickers on my Civic because stickers add like...5 HP.

What kind? It's semi-important if it has to do with carbon fiber. In fact, after I read the first post, I was gonna say "Get a Ferrari F-40... thing is mostly carbon-fiber, and the paint's so thin, you can see the weave behind the red."

Imagine that.

Get a Ferrari F40? You don't think I'd like to? XD That was my dream car from the age of one and a half. (I'm not even kidding - thanks to my father I could recognize cars half a mile ahead by just the headlights when I could barely talk. "'Vette!" "'Cedes!" "Porsche!" God I was a cool kid.)

The power of delusion

My rsx to the left (prior to CF)...guess what the middle one is, and I'm sure you've seen the one all the way to the right a lot.

The middle one...some kind of Toyota I believe. And of course, the WRX.

Lame iPod trend?

If a competitor would actually make a product that could compete, maybe people wouldn't be pressured into buying an iPod.

On the car picture, the middle car is an S14.

Apple has competitors with the iPod such as Dell, Creative, iRiver etc. If you google MP3 Players or somthing similar, you can come up with a bunch of different things than the iPod. I absolutely hate iPods and how every single person has to has one. It makes me feel that every one around me is just spoiled, well the younger ones mostly, I mean I have money, but I work hard and blow it all on my car. I would never work hard for an iPod or any other $200 MP3 Player in that case. Of course, that is the next generation of music so it's somthing we all gotta live with. Kids even have them at my little brothers elementary school. Thats 7 year olds carrying around a $200 product! Along with PSP's as well!

At my high school, there are extremely few who don't have an iPod.

I looked at and tried the competition against the ipod... it's mostly horrible. I'm not familiar with any of it that's come out within the last year though because I needed/bought my iPod a year ago.

I'm just saying you can't really blame people for getting iPods when the competition has been crap. I don't really like apple... and I tried to get something else but I wasn't stubborn enough to get a lame competing product for the sake of not getting an apple... that's all.

Cd players are cool though =p. It's always nice to actually have the bands' CDs rather than just ripping them off.
