Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10pm+ server time are the only bad/impossible days/times for me

Living in Europe will make it extremely hard to play after 8PM server time, but we'll see. I'd like to sign =)

I'm in, although I'm a bit scared of the fast-paced qualification thing since I can't play at my best on the weekends. :/

I'll join, but, chances are given that with there being only an hour to qualify, that I won't even be able to do that.
But here's hoping.

In I guess. I'm feeling the same as Rushy where I feel afraid qualifications won't go well for me due to not being at my peak during that time x.x

Hmm....
Well, I work Monday-Saturday. On Monday and Thursday I work from 8am-12pm and again from Tuesday-Saturday from 3pm-11:30pm so that makes Tuesday-Saturday impossible with those available times. EDIT: PST, which still makes the situation the same. Last edited by Xtreme2252; 01-16-2015 at 04:13 PM.. |

still thinking about joining this. Has been awhile since I last joined a tournament, but not sure if I'd be able to keep up with the updates.

I'm holding a mock qualifier (a warm-up of sorts) next weekend on Saturday, 1/24 at 9 PM server time, just to get people used to the time constraints that are required. This is not mandatory for any reason -- this is just to help people get a feel for how things are going to be in terms of timing. You'll use the Google form that I have setup and staged for storing the scores, as well. The hope is to emulate the situation enough to understand that between playing, and score uploading, that you won't have a lot of time to play everything.
All songs picked in this mock qualifier will be on the FFR engine, as opposed to the actual qualifier, which will have all custom songs. I think if people get the chance to practice planning for a situation where you don't have many attempts to play songs, they might qualify a bit better. I'll give out 1 credit for every perfect a player receives. Free credits, and you get a chance to see how it feels to play under really severe constraints. Win win? I will shoot out a private message to everyone that has signed up so that we can get as much participation as possible. EDIT: also Candor, you're on the participant list; updated to post #39 now. I'm in even though time constraints does kind of scare me with work etc. I should be able to get here for the mock qualifier.
