Michelle also has a diffrent out look on religion than the standard christian religion i believe this thread was based upon. i also do not recall God ever creating Hell.. however, i guess thats another thing that has just been assumed. I could be wrong, and dont quote me on it, But i dont think god created hell. If god had created a hell, He in theory could easily destory it, but more often than not a creation of such a sort can be taken out of control making it more difficult to destory. However. if hell was destoryed i believe that the bad souls that were supposed to be trapped in hell would be trapped in a wierd twilight zone type of deal. But thats just my theory on it.

it was only like 14-20 billion years ago and it wasnt just like one day because, there was no time before it, so its more like at the beginning of time, 14 to 20 billions of years ago, something incredible happened, the universe's only possible coincidence at the time happened: The Big Bang just like to clear that up <_<

2) Just because he's not mentioned in Genesis doesn't mean he doesn't exist. He is mentioned in many other places, new testament AND old. Speaking of Satan, I just found something interesting. In Job 1:6, Satan goes up to Heaven and talks to God, and God is basically like "Wtf why are you here?!" and Satan's like "Just taking a break from tormenting your stupid humans and turning them evil!" So God challenges him like "Well what about Job, that man is awesome. He wouldn't turn bad." So Satan is like "Aight, I'ma fuck him up." I just found it funny that Satan goes up to Heaven randomly and chats with God. I thought that only happened in South Park... o_O I can't quickly find mention of Hell in the Bible, because I'm slow, but I did see it hinted at off-handedly in the Old Testament, which I found odd (I mean, Jews go by the old and they don't believe in Hell, right?). Some guy said that after some prophet comes in the end days that the dead would rise up, and some would go on to eternal life while others would go on to eternal suffering. Personally, I have fun with this stuff. I'd like to find where the prophecy of the mesiah is told and compare it with the actual accounts of Jesus, just to see. I wish there was an easier and faster way to access all the biblical stuff so I could see it all and compare everything and...aaaaaah!

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

I'm sure there's some online reference for that crap.
Indeed, a quick search on Google returns this site: http://www.biblegateway.com/ The thing I don't understand is how anyone can buy that crap. It's all so obviously made up.

God doesn't spend a week creating all things, only to later toss in Hell for effect. And don't use the word "exist," or you'll invoke a tangled debate of such epic proportions that this thread will descend to a mere flamewar. Quote:

Heaven and hell is the balance between good and evil. If either was destroyed, chaos would break loose. If hell was destroyed, all of the souls in hell would be realeased upon earth, and if someone who dies and was supposed to go to hell couldnt because hell doesnt exist, they would be stuck on earth. Eventually this would cause the apocalypse. (aka. george bush... jk)

What we all might know, is there WOULD actually be chaos, but... What happens if ONLY Hell gets destroyed. Those who were suppose to be sent to Hell, get stuck on life? Or their souls travel to a new wicked place. I don't think Heaven can be destroyed. Nor Hell. If there is such a thing as Hell. But this question popped in my mind now... Why don't we actually remember anything? I mean, before we were brought to Earth, we were something/someone else, in something/someone's body. If our past life past away, why can't we remember where we actually rested? Can't remember Hell/Heaven =/ Damnit, can't remember the afterlife.

I read the Revelations in the Bible, it was very interesting, it made me understand a lot about my religion. But it was all mostly symbolic. But if you have a Bible, and haven't yet read the Revelations then you should. It's long, but worth it.
