My MA has been sharply improving in the past several weeks - I'm shaving off 30-40% of the perfects I get on files I played as little as a month ago. My improvement though has been broad-based: I'm been working on relaxing my hand during play and working on my sometimes-sloppy technique. Check these out:
Bynary Syndrome v1 (great MA/PA with an assload of cbs) ![]() Bynary Syndrome v2 - mother****ing freezes ruined this score. ![]() Bynary Syndrome v3 (I've gotten high 70s on this back in the day but holy hell that PA) ![]() -------------- Quadded the jacks and 24th trill. I've FCed before but this is my best PA I think (I had low 40s on this years ago). ![]() Haha I played something from the KBU. Wrecked the 64th rolls and jacks. ![]() Classic file. ![]() ![]() Shit cbs (I FCed back in 2010) but the MA/PA is really sick for me. 2012 score: ![]() 2010 score for reference (lol No Hands, this was when I had my old keyboard that didn't support them): Staring at my Spaceship FC.jpg gg holds ![]() =.= ![]() This is from one month ago, so there's been a considerable improvement overall: Luna Clock.jpg OW hand cramp AAAed the first 700 notes and cramped so badly I narrowly lost out on the AA (92.9% DP fml) ![]() ...seriously? ![]() ----------------- The Insane Shit FUCK I AAAed past 1100 and choked. ![]() ![]() Sick cbs. Can get <5 but it'll require some luck since this file is really tricky. ![]() Wow, I was sure I had gotten more than 3 cbs. This is definitely FCable - all the misses were in spots I usually nail. ![]() This is from a month ago (remember that vid?). Decent MA improvement. ![]() Sick. My keyboard derped on me and ruined a potentially 1300+ combo but this is awesome overall. I can get this down to 2 or 3 on a super lucky run. ![]() Really sick. Best cbs I've ever gotten on this (actually pretty sure it's my first sdcb).![]() |

Etude Op.10 no.1 PA is awesome
Also very nice L3 that file has some awkward patterns (although I have no idea what they'd be like for one hand lol) |

the only reason you're doing way better is because I turned vsync off on your computer

This. I think that was the issue with my old pc, it was basically like I was playing on j6 for the longest time. Made for good practice, kinda like when Piccolo uses weighted clothing to train hehu

Thanks everybody.
My hope is to start pulling off some sick AAAs in the future with further improvement.Yeah, and I turned it back on - check the 60 fps on all the scores dude. I have it turned off on my Stepmania 3.9 (I have that installed for stepping), and I get more perfects than marvs lmao. Dunno why, last time I played in '09 when my MA was even better it was the reverse - vsync turned on ****ed me up and vsync turned off gave me god-like MA (that is, it was better than what I have now). No idea why it switched rofl. |
