Since I spent hours rendering it and touching it up, and feel that you guys might want to use it like I do (I am an open source type of guy after all),
here you go: ![]() I tried to make the arrow's partially transparent area more straight and smooth and the edges smoother. The original arrow really does look a lot worse, but it's not that noticeable at a small scale. I know it isn't perfectly smooth and all, but I think it's the best FFR arrow render you'll find. Sorry to say I didn't do that with any other arrow color, but I didn't feel like doing hours of touch up work again. Here's another picture I thought I'd share since I won't be using it and feel it might be a good FFR profile background in general. It of course could be scaled down to the normal arrow size. This might be a bad background idea, I don't know, but I'm uploading it anyway. ![]() Edit: I discovered that the arrow render shows up about the size of a normal size FFR arrow when the image is set to 300dpi So if you're printing something with 300dpi resolution and want FFR arrows in it, this arrow render would be perfect.

Cool.
I can't really think of much application for a huuge FFR arrow, but if I ever use a huge FFR arrow in any of my work, I'll make sure to use it.

It could always be scaled down, and it would look better yet smaller.

I know about that, I also put an edited version of his arrows with the middle parts being partially transparent in his thread. It's just that those small arrows become a bit pixelated when scaled a bit bigger, so I made a larger better quality version in case I wanted the arrow to be larger than that size, otherwise those arrows ODD rendered would be just fine.

Double post and over 1 year bump because... I Made a Huge, High quality, red FFR Arrow Render.
Behold ![]() This took many many hours/days of touch up work. I hope it shows. I've found many uses of the last arrow I rendered and touched up, and I hope to make more use of this one. Please do save this render and use it in your graphics if you can find use for it. I hope this thread doesn't go unnoticed within the next day again.

It shows. Nice job, I can only imagine what the original looked like enlarged like that before your touch up.

Here's the original. I had FFR the game zoomed way in and I had to take several screen shots to hopefully get the entire arrow in the screen shot.

Looks great, but I would've done most of it in flash, personally, because scaling it would be SO much easier. I mean, you can have any size with flash and keep the quality, if you do it right.
Good work nonetheless.

It was in flash, the arrows aren't vectors. Like, the way I zoom in, anything that does keep its quality does. These arrows were made small and were not vector images.
edit: Oh I see, nevermind then. I wish I had flash so I could do that.

What I mean is that I would've redrawn them in flash as vectors.
