I can guarantee my answer is the same as everyone else still around who signed up within a 2 month period as I did (i.e. I know Jurs signed up same way I did) but through Addictinggames.com or w/e the site was called...
Myself personally, it was my best friend's bday and he fell asleep on me like a nerd at a party, so I stayed up and a new hot link popped up on the website, and lo and behoild it was FFR and it was magic ever since ![]()

Some girl in my Computer Keyboarding class in middle school was playing it and I thought it looked fun so I tried it. Me and my friend sat there through the whole class playing it and we were terrible. Never thought I'd get better.

My cousin showed me it back when FOTBB was the hardest song. We mashed it and eventually passed and I thought I was 1337 so I started playing when I got home...too bad she made me rush when I was making a user name =/

I used to be a huge fan of DDR but i didnt exactly have an unlimited amount of money stashed away to play DDR everyday at the arcade, and i didnt really want to spend much money on it, so i thought that there had to be an online version somewhere i typed DDR into google, and some wierd forum thing came up with the link to this site, ive been playing ever since

My friend (sk8erdude7029) was playing it one day at my house on my computer. I told him I thought it was stupid. I tried it and immediately failed Soul Shift. He then let me watch him pass it and I shat myself. I used to play him in MP on my old account (which I will not mention). My goal was to get better than him. He quit so I guess I did that
![]() I then made the account ZZ_Sprite when I passed fantranstic and got into the ZZ clan. Every time he sees me he says "What the hell..you still play that game??" Last edited by Sprite-; 01-12-2009 at 03:33 AM.. |

A long time ago, I came across Beat Beat Revolution. I played it for about 5 minutes, then thought... there must be a better online rhythm game somewhere! So I googled around and there it was! FFR =P

actually, synth posted on the ddrfreaks.com forum back in 2001, and I was all blowing loads and emailing him, asking if he was interested in using my music in the game.
THE REST IS HISTORY. |

My friend played Sonic boss machine when he was over on my birthday, and I loved the music, so I signed up later that night and have been playing ever since. (mind you I took a 4 month break somewhere in the first year.)

I'm not sure but I think it was on google looking for a simfile when I came across the FFR simfile database... well, I didn't come across the database, but, you know...
