When I begin seeing gift bags surrounding my Christmas tree instead of presents, I just wonder how many of you still wrap gifts with good old wrapping paper. I know it's that much more work to present a gift to someone, but I think it's just a lot prettier and neater. So do you still wrap gifts or do you put them in gift bags now?

**** no. I'm personally wrapping every present I'm giving out this year so people won't be able to see what inside without getting caught.

It's funnier when they walk out right in front of you and put the items under the tree. It is also quite humorous when you get things like lottery tickets in your stocking.
And yes, I still wrap presents =) |

My mom made a whole bunch of gift bags years ago out of scrap fabric. It's easier, especially if you have multiple items to give to a person, and you don't have to buy wrapping paper only for it to end up in the trash.

Wrap em.
I usually spend about 300 bucks on my mom and dad each year and 100 bucks on my little brother. If I didn't wrap, my parents would peek, ni kidding. I got them $125 in cash for a hotel room and $100 in gift cards this year along with a new set of bose headphones for each of them. If they peek and see that, I will kill them and keep the gifts. So I wrapped them. |

Most the time I'll wrap it, so I voted for wrap.
Though I have do sometimes use giftbags, I don't prefer either though, it's whatever. |

My parent's are technology-retarded. My dad tried to block porn sites on our computer just in case. But he though you actually had to go to the porn site and block it from there. Long story short, my dad was downstairs looking all over a porn site and my mom was yelling when I got home. It was an interesting day. |

Also, it depends on the gift. Sometimes I'll wrap a gift in tissue paper and put it in a bag. Other times I'll use wrapping paper. *shrug*

You have to wrap your presents, gift bags are too easy to peek into.
Besides, how else would you do the whole gift card in a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within a box, within another box? |

I would be excessively angered at the fact that I had a box within a box. :/
As for me, I don't wrap gifts anymore. I just hand people their presents, as wrapping wastes your time. They're only going to throw away the paper anyways. ![]()

I remember a while ago when I used to get these cool special edition board games that came in a metal tin. They were always wrapped but my brother and I did a "rubbing" on them with a crayon, because they had embossed letters. Good times with wrapped gifts.

I don't understand what you are confused about?
I am giving them $125 to be used to purchase a hotel room as an overnight vacation. |

LOL!
It is hilarious to do that! My brother is OCD and I did that to him 2 years ago when I gave him a thing of Tic Tacs. He was soooooooo mad. My dad and I laughed until we cried. My mom cast her evil stare of shame, which in turn made us laugh harder. |

I still wrap. For Christmas, I'm thinking of buying a poster for someone, getting a HUGE box, unroll the poster and tape it inside, then fill the box with little pieces of garbage from around the house.
If they try to shake it, it'll clunk and I'll scream NO ITS FRAGILE! |
