edit: and what's the point in finding the best player when you can easily take #'s 1 and 2 from each region and try to get them to compete in a tournament? why are other people joining? this is the faultiest way of trying to find the best ffr player in the world, and all for your curiosity |

If you want this to work well, you should PM the top players when there are sign-ups for their regions. If you convince the best of each region to join, it'd be more competitive.
I have to wait for my region's sign-ups to roll around.... D: |

I call it now that this falls flat on it's face, but not without making it to about the 1/3 mark.
Actually, I had thought of an idea like this, but I wanted to do it at the state level, and then work my way up. Sadly, I do not have the time for such a thing.
