Well they both killed people but Stalin did it in a much more secretive type manner but Hitler was just a bastard so I'd say Hitler.

Hitler is a much worse man. He discriminated against a specific group and did a genocide against them (but failed). Stalin didn't do quite so open horrible things, and didn't do it quite to the same scale.

Stalin was just as Antisemitic as Hitler. I'm not sure what the point of the question is. My instinct says Stalin was probably responsible for more atrocities for two reasons: because he was in power longer, and because he was the first tyrant to possess nuclear deterrence. There are probably other measures of immorality or badness than murder count, but that's definitely the most obvious and probably the largest.

I personally would have to say that Stalin was worse than Hitler. Hitler's attempted annihilation of the Jews was part of Hitler's attempt to create his ideal kingdom. So I'm really understating this, but one can argue that the Holocaust was just part of Hitler's naive plan. Stalin, on the other hand, killed many Russians. And Stalin's killings were done either because of paranoia or because the people didn't agree with him. I'm just saying that Hitler could better justify his killings. Please note that I'm not in any way trying to approve of what either of these guys did. Oh, and I believe that Stalin actually killed more people than Hitler did. Not totally sure about that stat, though.

Do you guys know your history?
Stalin was way worse. In the gulags alone, he killed somewhere between 20-40 MILLION people. That's twice at low, and over 3 times at highest. Neither of them have 'rational' explanations for their killings, they're both mass-mudering idiots. P.S. The U.S. was allies with Russia while he was commiting all these murders. Just FYI. |

Personally, they both were horrible men. I don't see why I should compare the two. BOTH committed genocide, which is enough for me.

Um...how about no. Trying to quantify slaughter and torture and murder to determine "who is worse" is absurd.
