I've noticed foot ratings for keyboard songs are rather random and inconsistent.
I've classified pad and keyboard songs into 1 continuous level spectrum. Once 4.0 is standard, people will be able to see 16+ ratings easily. If there is one system, it would end confusion of Keyboard 12 vs pad 12. Tell me what you think, and what some popular files should be rated under this system. 1-9: Same As DDR 10: May have 8th note streams at a very high BPM(Max 300). Short to medium 16th streams are more common. May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 125-135 in longer streams. 24ths and 32nds may occur. Some songs at this level are full of hands. Examples: Max 300 heavy(DDR), Legend of Max(DDR), Kagami Expert 11: Longer 16th streams than 10’s, 8th jumps, more complicated rhythms, May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 135-150 in longer streams. 24ths and 32nds are more common. Examples: Xuxa Expert, July Expert 12: 16th streams may go into jumps, May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 150-170 in longer streams. 24ths and 32nds are fairly common. Examples: G2(KBMP), Delirium Expert, Euphoria Expert 13: 16th streams often go into jumps, May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 170-185 in longer streams. 24th and 32nd streams may occur. Examples: Quasar, BMR’s V, Pandemonium Expert, Uber Rave. 14: Jumps are more common, May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 185-195 in longer streams. 24th and 32nd streams occur regularly. This is about the current limit of pad play. Examples: BMR’s A, DukAmok’s Delirium Heavy, Reach’s Air, Cold Pizza, Ageha. 15: Jumps may occur in slower 16th streams(<170). May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 195-205 in longer streams. Almost all streams begin or end with jumps. 16th jumps may occur in sets of 3-5 in slower songs. Examples: One More Lovely Standard, Toph’s Girl Boy Song, Ren’s Battle Ax, Lawn Wake IV. 16: Jumps may occur regularly anywhere in the song. May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 205-215 in longer streams. 24th, 32nd and worse are common. Examples: Illumination of the Sky 17: 16th jumps can occur throughout the song. May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 215-225 in longer streams. May contain long 24th note streams at high BPM’s. This is about the current limit of index play. Examples: One More Lovely Heavy, Cynic(KBMP), DukAmok’s Delirium Challenge, Death Moon 18: May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 225-235 in longer streams. A few triples and quads may occur. Streams of 16th jumps may occur. Examples: Genocide. 19: May contain the equivalent of 16th’s at 235-245 in longer streams. Triples and quads are possible in the middle of a stream. Difficult freeze arrows may occur with a ton of hands. Example: Blur 20: Triples and quads may occur regularly in streams. Or 245-255BPM 16th’s 21: 16th Streams may consist of only jumps, triples and quads at about 130 BPM. 32nd and 48th note streams occur regularly, and may end in jumps-quads. 255 BPM 16ths Example: Reality 22: Song may be ¼ or more hands. Or 16th stream at 260+ occurring regularly. Probably about the limit of KB Play. Example:NLVM’s Earthquake Oni 23: Song is either almost nothing but jumps-quads, or 16th stream at 270+ Example: road of death oni. System is open-ended, so you can have 24, 25, 26, etc. |

The keyboard ratings are much more random because of how difficult it is to rate something. Jacks, trills, stamina, and readability are all factors at which different people could excel in different areas.
For example, person A can get a AA on song A, and get a B song B, but person B can get a B on song A, and get a AA on song B. It would also be too much of a hassle to change the current system: 11 - Really easy 12 - Pretty simple 13 - Mediocre 14 - Pretty hard 15 - Quite hard 16+ - Really hard
