Well thank you >
I don't have to cry anymore now ![]() Oh btw, my computer is fucked up, and my internet is temporarily disabled, I'm at a different location for the weekend. I don't know when I will come back, depends on if I have to reformat my hard drive and lose my three new originals that I've been working on for quite some time. oohps.

Gravity is harder 2 handed. 1 handed gravity is easier cause you can kinda slide your hand around over the doubles.
And yes. Hyro is very good. He just misses too many on stuff with doubles. If we fused to make 1 hand it would beat nima XD Im surprised he was able to come back like that though. Impressive. My hand gets sluggish when I don't play...like right now. Oh well.

I'm gonna definitely disagree with you, Reach. Gravity with one hand is difficult. Even if you can roll your hand over the doubles, the PA on Gravity with one hand would be horrendous.
oh and, the perfect one hander would easily lose to the best two-handed player. Not to say that perfect one hander is not among the best players, of course. |

First off, I was talking about the guy that said gravity is easier than FOTBB. FOTBB is much easier, unless you're playing 1 handed...than fotbb is harder.
And, it would depend on the song style. If you didn't pick stuff with a massive 4 finger bias it would be an interesting match.

My point is, there are nearly no advantages to being a one-hander over a two-hander. You do have some as a two-hander though, songs with massive 4 finger bias, as you put it, is an example.
You're basically saying, "take out the element of difficulty from me, and I'll do well against you, who can handle it." It's the same as a one-fingered player saying something like, "play max300 on light. and I'll make the match interesting." |

Everything has its advantages, and disadvantages. I was talking about playing something fair, to both players, which is basically stuff without millions of jumps in the streams (snow). I could fill a song with lots of retarded running man patterns and lefts (my uber rave). It won't effect the 1 hander, if we were fused like i said above (lol). It'll screw you up though.
But yea, there will never be a perfect one hander, nor will a 1 hander be able to beat a 2 hander on much, aside from select songs.

I prefer one hand rather than two. Of course, I have been practicing with SM (eat my puss, DWI!) to use two hands. And it will increase your accuracy greatly.

For the record, all the guys that play Kiss Kara Hajimaru Miracle or Typhoon Idol play them one-handed.

I also use one hand. I don't think I'll ever learn to use two hands.

I started playing using 1 hand, just because I'd never played this sort of game before, and any other time that I use those arrow keys, it's most logical to use one hand. When I saw a video of somebody playing a song with 2 hands, I couldn't believe how fast they moved. So I tried two hands, and lo and behold... it's easier and faster. I still use one-handed occasionally on easy songs that don't require much holding of the up-and-down arrows at the same time. It gives you that extra coordination boost when you already know the song and are good for it, but want to get perfects, not greats. The only problem with two hands is that they get in each other's way. I never know what to do with the fingers that aren't playing. I would really like to play this with this setup: D - left F - down J - up K - right That leaves plenty of space for your hands. It's definitely not for total newbies who have never played before, because the buttons aren't in a logical pattern, but for me, who just thinks about what finger they want to use and uses it... it'd be great. Maybe I should try it on SM. |
