Double isn't cheating at all nima. Stfu, if it was like that I'd call every 4 finger player for cheating cause I don't use 4 fingers. Stop smoking weed.

And blur is the human limit. You're saying you can jackhammer FASTER than 16 per second? Yea right, nima

The drills in ice climber 1 are like 26 taps per second. Its impossible, dude. You're keyboard will register most of them if you can tap insanely fast, and it won't fail you. But eventually you'll fail.

no but sm can register more than that. double is cheating buddy, you're using 8 keys for 4 arrows. The way you play doesn't count as cheating. Like if on iidx someone uses 2 hands and someone uses 1 is the person using 2 a cheater? nope.

Doesn't matter. Cheating is going against the rules. Its not fucking cheating. Theres no rule against useing too many damn keys, theres no rule in basketball saying you jumped too high. Idiot, if its so easy, try it.

God I feel retarded....But this doubling thing that you're talking about is it like configing 2 different keys for the same arrow or something like that?

Let's say that you config the up to be the up arrow and the W key and you use your left hand for W and your right hand for up and your press them at different times for it to go faster?

and i have tried it and when you use double setup it makes it easy to AA blur which is fucking cheap ass hell. think about it you only have to hit 8 a fucking second instead of 16... the game isn't meant to be played that way, you're just taking advantage of it.

Yes, diablo.

And nima, IT DOESN"T MATTER IF ITS CHEAP. 1 hand vs 4 fingers is cheap. get over it. Theres nothing rule breaking about it.

And its still not NEARLY as easy as you make it out to be. Its like learning to play all over again, and is very awkward. Theres a double setup on ffr...doesn't seem to help anyone.

1 hand vs 4 fingers isn't cheap. Like any other bemani game, your style of play is up to you, if you wanna take a disadvantage too bad. But you can't add keys that aren't meant for the game. Your just making some shit up cause you need double setup to do well now? I didn't think you'd go to that level.
Almost everyone knows its cheapshit.

No, I can add as many keys as the game allows me to bitch. Theres no rule against the overlapping setup. It's you who has taken the disadvantage.

Stop being jelous. I have gone to that level. I am lv 99, 255 stats, 9999 hp.

Who's to choose the rules? For all we know there are no rules and you could say there is no rule against any form of cheating. Whatever, keep using double since you aren't fast enough to do it the way its meant to be played, but if you use it atleast mention it in the scores.

forget this argument

A double setup is cheating because 99% of songs were meant to be played on the arrow keys or the numpad, including blur. I meant for you to play blur on the numpad or the arrow keys, and anything else is cheating. In any organized SM tourney if they ever existed they would not let you use a double setup.

If the statement you keep stressing ("I can because the game allows me to, and there's no rule against it" or whatever) is what you believe, that would mean you think using judge 1/1 isn't cheap, either. There is no rule against that, and changing it is exactly as hard as it is for adding keys. That isn't what you believe, though.

If you want to prove that double setup is legit, dont use that point, because it's not valid. Just wanted to point that out.

Changing the judge is against the rules. it gives you an unfair advantage, so it is cheating.

A double setup takes just as much practise as anything else. Sure, if I practise is, and become skillful at it, I now have the advantage, just as a 4 finger player would on a 1 hander.

Stop right there. A 4 finger player has to practice just as hard as an index player or one hander (on the arrow keys at least), but a person using a double setup can play blur and make the jackhammers drills instead of jackhammers. Thus, not how it was intended to be played and thus cheating.

Not each method is equal to the other.

1-handed<indexes<4 fingers<double setup

I think that is how the efficiency level goes. But obviously, there are exceptions.

As far as I know about double setup, you use 8 keys instead of 4. That being twice the number of regular keys. The logic isn't that hard.
