I think women are definitly more manipulative, however many women become manipulative because its the easiers way to get what we want.
If a women learns the art of manipulation well, she can get pretty much anything she wants, if she doesn't, she is likely to get ignored in many situations. So its obvious to see why we would pick it up more so than men. I lived with 7 guys for a year in college and managed to have food cooked for me and my shopping carried home pretty much whenever i needed through the skillful art of manipulation. As long as it doesn't get out of control, manipulation is a good skill to have. Of course some people go over board and use it in a very bad way. I guess manipulation is a super power and can be used for good or evil depending on ht eperson using it .

All I know is that if my girlfriend isn't manipulative, she definitely has a second brain inside my head controlling my body.

Ok, let's talk about manipulation for a second..
I've been in "love" with a certain girl for 3 years, problem is that she had a boyfriend... I was always the person she went to when things got bad with him, (he's a drug addicted, alcoholic, abusive, controling, unemployed, lives with mom, loser). ANYWAY... he went to jail, suddently I was offered my chance. The boyfriend (which I now thought ex) was in jail for 2 weeks, and those were the happiest two weeks of my life... as soon as he got out, I was thrown out of the picture. Whenever we went somewhere, I drove, whenever we went somewhere I paid (because I've been raised that way)... She manipulated the feelings she KNEW I had for her in order to occupy her time until her boyfriend got out of jail... So not only are women more maniuplative, they're also out to tear my heart apart. |

In general men do not care as much as women. Therefore manipulation does take place. But imo, men are apathetic to it while women think they are getting away with stuff. (They are but not over things that are really important.) All if this is in a general sense. In a huge society, there are exceptions and no ironclad rule could be established. |

Yea but that's not thread worthy. It's not as debatable as other aspects of this topic.
A better question would be WHY men are more manipulated than women? So far sex drives and men are stronger so they don't need much mind stuff anyways (A muscle over mind type mentality) have been common answers. |
