There are very few pictures that I ever like enough to save it to my comp...but this is just awesome.
Would you mind explaining how you managed to do that? The ocean is just so...colorrific |

I first cloned the entire picture and set it to hard light to give it more vividness since it was so damn blah and non-contrasting at first. I merged the layers and tweaked brightness/contrast till it looked reasonable.
Then I went to channels and merged the values of the green and blue channels into one layers since that was the general composition of the water. From there I used lots and lots of curves + painting to make it so that the ocean was the only area selected. I then went back to the main area and dropped a blue color into that selection on hard light. Then I went back to the channels again and Increased the values of the blue channel on the water and darkened the Red and Green layers. Then I gaussian blurred the sky a bit, and voila.

Vash uses photodraw. Booo.
And that had nothing to do with the topic. Nice work, Aperson.

Anyway, about your photo enhancing(if you could call it that). When you look at the rocks they look too overdone with colour. It doesn't look natural. The original image looked perfect, natural, serene. This color toning whatever you did to it made it look.. wrong. Except for the waves, I have to admit that the water did look cool to some extent. |

Mwerp's on a rampage...he wasn't attacking your character, man, so there's no call to go attacking his. Anyway, the picture looks badass (although I'll grant you the gripe about the rocks color, I was actually thinking that myself). And it looks a lot better than the original, whether or not it's more realistic is arguable, but even you can't argue that it at least looks cool.
