For some damn reason I can never get the slide note to actually work in FL Studio's piano roll. I place it in the proper location, and the previous note stays at said note. It's pissing me off. :<

The slide will last as long as the original note, and slide up as fast as the slide note is. So like if you want to go from C to E within one measure, and have the slide audible for the whole measure, you would need the original note at C to last for the whole one measure and then you would also need the slide note to be at E and start where the original note starts.
EDIT: I thought it might be helpful to note that you don't have to slide right away. What I mean is that if you have a held note, let's say C, that's been going on for like 2 measures, you can apply a slide to it after words. If you also maintain the original note past the slide, the new note will be held. Last edited by sleeplessdragn; 01-11-2007 at 01:53 AM.. |

Guys remember that slides only work in the synths that come packed with FL like 3xOsc and Sytrus and stuff. It doesn't work with 3rd Party VSTis.
