The Wii version is far superior to the GCN one.

I got it on launch day, and beat it about a month ago. 2nd only to OoT. Keep playing.

I shouldn't need to remind you all to avoid spoilers, but I do. I've edited out potential spoilers in the posts that had them. Try to avoid them from now on.

I consider even mentioning the names of places as spoilers. Because they are. Don't put specifics in posts.

In other news, for those who haven't gotten far yet, I'll tell you now my favorite part takes place after the third dungeon. So awesome. SO awesome.

I'm about to re-start the game from the beginning just so I can make a save file before that part.

I've now completed a significant amount (by my standards), and I have to say it just seems to get better and better. I just beat the 4th temple (I think).
P.s. posting from Wii

So far, one of the most memorable parts of the game is FISH ON.

Just because it took me almost an hour to figure it out (you know, how to fish with the Wii Mote).

Did anyone else get one of those Master Replicas? The one of the sword and shield that comes with the mini-soundtrack and was only sold at Target. It was $40, but sooo awesome.

I later found out that apparently only 7000 were made. o__o; I feel lucky to have found them now. Man, this thing will probably skyrocket in price on the secondary market. I should have gotten an extra or two for later resale. XD

When my brother was playing TP yesterday, he was stuck in this little square room, and was trying to find a hole to squeeze through. He couldn't figure it out, so he asked my dad if he could use the computer. When he dropped the controller to go to the computer, it made his wolf do an attack that destroyed the thing blocking his path.

I've only tried it at a gamestop so far, and I beat the dungeon demo there. It was probably the most I've enjoyed a Zelda game, except maybe the first one on the NES.

I completed the game a couple of days ago. I thought It was phenomenal. Better than OoT. The amount you could do in the game, the awesomeness of the weapons, the wide range of loveable characters, the art of fighting and the superb storyline. It's high in my list of games. Could be number one, I might still be a little star eyed from the ending though.

Yeah. I see my brother 8.8 on the Wii and he enjoys it, except to the part he gets stuck and I have to look for the answer on GameFaqs, or he finds out himself. Anyone notices that Midna has a nice ass?

A rather fun game from what I've played. I sat down at my cousins tonight and played it for a few hours, through to the end of the second temple.

My only beef is that it's ridonkulously easy so far, holy cow. Like disappointingly easy. I hope it gets harder.

If anything the wii controls are the only thing that makes it somewhat difficult XD I'm not very familiar with the wii yet, so they were a challenge, but I was starting to enjoy them by the end of the night. The wiimote slash is pretty disappointing though; it's stupid and kind of annoying. It seems to be unresponsive at the most important times.

What's with the wiimote sounds? They sound so bad.

The graphics are nice for a gamecube port. The game itself seems rather large and interesting, so even though it was off to a slow start it seems like a promising game. Midna is also very cool and rather helpful for once XD

Definitely a lot of fun.

I think its slow at first so players can get the feel for the controls on the Wii.

I found that the game just gets better and better. So what I'm saying is you've seen nothing yet XD

It does get harder. At the games hardest I found it to be quite hard. Not really hard but hard enough. Specially the Cave of Ordeals. Can be really tricky.

Yea, I will agree. You will get used to the controls though. When you do, it seemed very simple and you kick yourself for not getting a grip on it sooner. Well, at least I did anyway. I found that you sort of panic and slash the remote wrong when in the heat of battle. It's sort of like Wii Tennis in Wii Sports. You think you swing the bat and your guy spazzes and you then think "WTF?". After watching my brother play though and watching is hand swings I noticed that when it's that "QUICK HIT THE BALL" moment you just spazz out and not swing properly, not aware of you mini epileptic fit. Same rules apply with Twilight Princess. You don't notice you've swung wrong, you only notice link swung wrong or didn't swing at all.

I thought they were quite cool. Specially when you unlock a chest or reveal a secret or something. The quality sounds bad though. What gives worlds of difference is if you press Home Button>Wiimote Setting>Sound level. Turn it down a bit, helps out a great deal.

I know its not 360 graphics but your right it's very decent. So decent I never noticed it's not exactly 360 graphics, I didn't care! XD. Yea the game is slow starting but when you get in the swing of it and a few things happen in the game it's damn near impossible to put the game down!! XD. I love Midna. I think she's an awesome character, in Zelda my favourite next to Link and Ganon.

PS. Sorry for breaking your post down like I did. I just don't get to talk about this game often as people I know don't have it. I loved the game and I love to talk about it.

Oh gosh, I finally beat stage 1-8 on that fishing hole mini-game. That thing is the DEVIL. Now that I got the reward, there is no way I'm ever playing that thing again, can't imagine going all the way up to whatever the highest difficulty is.
I beat the game yesterday. I'm now trying to uncover all of the other secrets and easter eggs, and the game is still going strong. Just learned the last hidden skill.
Biggest enjoyment is most likely fishing. I love using the nunchuk to reel 'em in.

Zelda is a pretty straightforward, simple game.

The only problem is finding things off the beaten trail. I mean, it took about two weeks for news about the Frog Lure to even surface on the Internet. Two weeks on the Internet is like three years in reality.

I'd offer a checklist, but why would I want to spoil it for you =)

Let me just say your inventory will be very, very full of items.
