Well, I see no opposition.

I only hunt coons in Mississippi every once in a while, and it's not like you can spend hours aiming the gun [/exaggeration]. Is this like that way for all hunted animals? I would assume so.

Now, is it reasonable to assume that they can aim in a decently short amount of time? I really don't want the team rushing.

Well, I never said that you had to take hours aiming to shoot. It's just that any sane guy will not be shooting and reloading in seconds over and over and randomly shooting in random directions.

If so, they shouldn't even be able to get hold of a gun in the first place.

I hate the fact some of you are making blind people sound like dumb soulless idiots. Just because someone is blind does not mean they are completely cut off from the world around them, especially if they have been blind from a very early age. Really, you guys are in no position to tell someone what they can and can't enjoy.

And it's not like blind people are automatically stupid. 'Wow I can't see anything I think I'm just going to shoot madly now that I have a gun!'

I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to hunt.

He's not the only one that can do that, either. There are plenty of them (millions).

Mind you most of them don't rely on it entirely. But really, blind people are people just like anyone else and can enjoy a lot of things. Saying they can't enjoy it because they can't see is so ignorant.

This is exactly what I'm saying.

By the way, the video is amazing.

This really has nothing to do with anything, but someone near where I live a few years ago shot and killed the driver of a pick-up truck on a back road while hunting. They claimed to have thought the truck was a deer. I think they got charged with manslaughter.

Old topic, but if anyone is still reading it....

I like to ask how good can I aim if the gun Im aiming is in someone else's hand's? let's forget that their blind and just say that Im holding a gun trying to shoot a target and you need to help me by aiming it.you hunt, right?

I know what you mean. I live with a Handicap aunt who cant walk and finding outings for the family is not easy. I love it when people find ways around their probs but This Is Not Safe! sure some people might be able to pull it off but for most it's not a great idea.

its hard for me to agree or disagree with anyone at this point imo...

i believe that if a blind person wants to hunt... hell! let them hunt!

but as was stated earlier, there is a much higher chance for accident with a blind man handling a gun than a man who can see...

even people who can see sometimes make mistakes... (do i have to revisit the time when dick cheny shot that guy on accident while hunting? and cheny is neither blind or crazy... ook so we dont know about the crazy part but he's not blind) all im saying is that its ok for blind people to want to hunt and i respect that but if there are blind people hunting in the same area that im in... IM LEAVING
