This is a neat idea, especially considering the official tournament is happening this time around and anyone who's interested in playing other files while waiting for next round, improving speed or stamina or whatever, can play songs on this engine without having to download gigs worth of songs. They can just fetch a single song any time they want.
Also, anyone using an FFR engine is basically acknowledging the fact that:
- The files have no mines, holds, rolls, or attacks
- The files are all being played on CMOD
- There may be frame discrepancies.
The stepauthors are being listed along with the files and anyone using the engine is playing files that are limited within FFR's game mechanics. If these users think these files don't make sense, that's not the problem of the stepauthors or the staff of this engine but the user who is not realizing the fact that FFR does not support certain features.
