Radiohead reference aside, my parents just warn me going on devices at all somehow makes me crazy, and have no evidence to back up that claim.
They just want me to do school work, go to university and get a good job as if they don't have any other purpose for me in life.

It might seem silly but they're just wanting the best for you. Even though their idea of best might not align with your own. Really easy for me to preach this when I felt the same for x number of years.
