sure it may be difficult/uncomfortable to switch initially but by sticking with the former you're invariably just going to gimp your potential as a player.
also as buziel said I've found playing wrists up actually places less straight on my wrists than otherwise
less strain, increased speed, there's really no downside

yeah my pa now has just about caught up to my original pa. I have more speed and it is less strain now that I am used to it.
oh and I'm MUCH better at trilling now
