About Rounds
This is a elimination tournament, which is mostly recommended to play on keyboard. There are going to be 5 rounds, which will be 3 days long.
Divisions
There are no divisions on this tournament, every participant will play the same song.
Number Of Participants
The tournament will be 25 participants maximum, with each round taking 5 participants out.
Submission/Requirements for saving your score
For this you must have the following:
1.- Stepmania 5.0.5 to 5.0.12
2.- A SMO Account
3.- Set OpenGL as your Stepmania's Video Renderer.
Once you have that, follow these steps:
You must play the song on SMO so that you don't cheat the system. The reason is because SMO automatically matches the score to always be at the Judgment of 3.99, so, if you use another one, SMO will automatically match it.
And also you must play these on Stepmania 5 with OpenGL, because the StepFiles were made for that version. It won't work with other versions, even 5.1, because it gives a lot of error messages.
When you finish your play and get to the evaluation screen,
ALWAYS remember to press right (just once) so that the score that SMO saved is displayed, the score has to match to the one from SMO, or else it won't be accepted.
Here's an example.
You only have to send a screenshot of the updated score you got on StepMania, i'll analyze the score with the server score.
For the people wondering if you can send several scores, yes, you can. I know that it might break the meaning, but people will complain if it's not like that.
Start of tournament
The tournament will start when the 25 player slots have been filled, or the 15th of October, 2016. (if the player count is at least 10)
Main Release Question
Will these songs be released publicly?
Of course yes, they're going to be released after we made some things to make them functional in all versions of SM5.
Regarding players who can't enable OpenGL
So, there are some players who can't enable the OpenGL On their StepMania, or that it breaks the flow of the framerate, so, there will be backup files to make you keep going, however, they'll be harder than the original stage's Original difficulty.
