Bobbit worm
(Eunice aphroditois)
is a species of polychaete worm found in Indo-Pacfic waters. Like something out of someones nightmare this worm buries itself in the mud where it waits for an unwary animal to swim by, it then attacks the animal with a mouth full of sharp teeth with enough speed to cut some animals in half. and if that wasn’t scary enough these worms can grow up to 10ft long! (they average at 3ft though).
