Actually it did happen in my old neighborhood some time ago. A guy took a pistol and killed many people in a trailer park near me. For what reason, there was no reason. He killed innocent people for the hell of it.

Well, than why do you even object to this? the people who get them will more than likely just have them for self defense. The guy who committed the crime in your old trailer park was probably mentally unstable to begin with, and more than likely was illegally in possession of the pistol anyways.
