You can skillboost like crazy one day then rust the next, takin a few weeks or months to get back to where you are on here. Pretty sure that's commonplace in SM but it's super common here. Any improvement whatsoever is a victory, especially when you finally get a good score on that one song you been grinding for A G E S.

Stuff also gets nuts due to almost 20 years of charts on here; it's super cool to see how stuff was charted in a certain "era" vs. another, yet at the same time that means it can be super aggravating depending on who charted it (specific examples of that you may find in your adventures) or when it was made.
